Mody Buchbinder I'll have to hunt around for a system with an HD Graphics 530 chip running Windows 10. But would note otherwise that a 25.20.100 driver (you don't indicate the specific build) is at least 6 builds back -- current is 26.20.100.7000. Please update [1] a system or two and test if Intel has improved the 32-bit support that would impact ArcGIS ArcMap graphics. Stuart =-ref-= [1] Download Intel® Graphics - Windows® 10 DCH Drivers

Depends on your Authorization code: EVA123456789 -- Evaluation--EsriPress, and Education 1yr ESU123456789 -- Single Use--ArcGIS for Home, corporate EFL123456789 -- Floating--concurrent license pool, 1 seat many users If you have none of these, the EVA is via book (flyleaf, or registration) or institution's contact. The ESU, and EFL are via your account access to the my.esri.com -> My Organization tab. EVA and ESU codes authorize the ArcGIS bundle (including ArcMap) directly on the install. The EFL codes would activate a pool on a license server and you'd point the client install to that license pool. So, it depends....

Sure! But, I kind of cheated since most "administrative" GIS is done in State Plane, and Houston is in the same SPCS 83 zone as San Antonio so I work data sets cast in it often. Though personally for most of my mapping I prefer UTM. =-ref-= State Plane Coordinate System - Wikipedia State Plane Coordinate System—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

Lat,Long and street address you gave. ArcMap data frame set to Texas State Plane South Central (but possibly is the HARN flavor) with world street map base map. Lat,Long to street address. Cursor position to X,Y tupple matching the data. Then just load the table to geodatabase, and create an x,y display of the table data. You are on ArcGIS, so would be very surprised if you did not have the State Plane coordinate systems available in the listing for Projected coordinate systems to assign to a data frame. And, with a little fiddling (for practice) exactly the same flow and availability of State Plane projections and table load to geodatabase and display of x,y data using ArcGIS Pro.

Those are in Texas State Plane - South Central, in US Feet (FIPS 4204), look up the projection details if you actually need to convert from NAD83.

Mo, You have to bind the Esri Vendor daemon of the FlexNetPublisher (FNP) configuration to a specific port. Setting both the listening FNP lmgrd port, and the Esri ARCGIS component "VENDOR PORT=####" are clearly spelled out in the ArcGIS License Manager Guide... That is a Registry script and the Zones\0 are settings for the My Computer, where the Internet Settings -> Zones -> 0 can be set per user profile, or set globally. It is not the not the old Local Machine which was locked down. The HKCU is per user-- HKEY_CURRENT_USER The HKLM is for all users-- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE The Value settings for each DWORD in the Zones are: "0", "1" or "3" Typically, a setting of zero sets a specific action as permitted, a setting of one causes a prompt to appear, and a setting of three prohibits the specific action. A DWORD setting of 3 in users HKCU will block a 0 in HKLM setting. In the attached clip from regdit, the HKCU Zones\0 1201 "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe" value for ActiveX scripts originating on the computer are permitted.

With ArcToolbox GUI open, Right mouse for context menu and "Add Toolboxes" Browse to look-in Toolboxes, there will be "My Toolboxes" and "System Toolboxes". The .tbx will be in the System Toolboxes. On a correctly installed extension--"Run as Administrator" the ArcHydro extensions will all be available to add to the ArcToolbox GUI. When located, you probably want to add the "ArcHydro Tools.tbx" to the GUI. If they are not present in the "System Toolboxes" you may not have Admin rights--check in the My Toolboxes, but probably better to workout Admin rights to get them into System Toolboxes. To double check the System Path to a correct installation places them here: C:\Program Files (x86)\arcgis\desktop10.5\ArcToolbox\Toolboxes Let us know if you are still stuck... Stuart

Recently asked https://community.esri.com/message/781711-installing-windows-on-mac IMHO simply configure your Guest VM to run with about 1/2 available RAM--works well for the VMWare Fusion installs, don't expect Parallels to be any different.

Looks to be resolved, the Education team posted this to the HIGHERED-L mail list: HIGHERED-L <HIGHERED-L@ATLANTIS.ESRI.COM> on behalf of Ann Masangcay <amasangcay@ESRI.COM> Today, 1:04 PMHIGHERED-L@ATLANTIS.ESRI.COM All, It has come to our attention that the shortcut urls to the free student software code activation and download site have been directing students to the Esri e-commerce site. Due to the volume of inquiries we have received, I wanted to announce that this issue has been resolved. Students studying at a university with a site license may continue to use the following Esri shortcut urls to navigate to the student software code activation and download site. Students will continue to receive the student software codes from their professor or site license coordinator. The affected Esri links were: www.esri.com/studentedition www.esri.com/educationedition We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you or your GIS students. Please let me know if you have any questions about Esri’s Education Program. Kind Regards, Ann Masangcay | Education Outreach Please retest... Stuart

... I did hear from them that IPV6 was already disabled on that server, so it probably isn't that. Actually, while IPv6 may be disabled--DirectAccess sends the IPv6 via IPv4 tunnel--if DirectAccess / IPSec are active, IPv6 is active (counter intuitive, but true). Suggestion was that disabling the "native" IPv6 support on the NIC for the clients keeps that from interfering with the tunneling--and that may explain the difference between your 10.3.1 installs and new 10.5.1 installs. Easy to check on by looking at the Network settings -> Change adapter settings for a system with 10.3.1 installed that connects.
