Are you the owner/creator of the survey? If so, the default inbox behavior would be to download ALL records/surveys that exist in the survey/feature service. It is only when specifying a 'WHERE' clause that it would be limited to a subset of the data. Have you tried refreshing the inbox?

Hi Martin, The behavior that persists when submitting using the web app is actually the correct behavior. When a question is is not relevant, even a default value will not and should not be stored in the data. Only upon becoming relevant should the value be persisted. We have a defect regarding the behavior that you are encountering with the field app, where default values are being populated even when the question has not yet become relevant. We are hoping to be able to address this with our next release. The logic of your form may need to be reconsidered so that the expected behavior (default values not being persisted until the question becomes relevant) does not surprise you when it is fixed in Survey123 Connect and the field app. Best, Brandon

Hi Allen, You can update the Home Location by changing it in the Settings > Map in Survey123 Connect and republishing the survey. The submitters would then have to download the survey again, to reflect the change. Another option would be to create another survey based off of an exiting feature service using Survey123 Connect which will represent the second campus. In the map settings for this survey you can set the Home Location to the second campus and provide the share link to those who will be at that campus. Best, Brandon

Thanks for confirming that the zoom level is appropriate once the home button is selected. Once selecting home, and then selecting the location button it should retain the specified zoom level. To follow, you are right to expect the zoom level to be the same as what you have set for the home location when opening the map. We have this behavior noted in our internal repository and we are investigating how it can be addressed. Thank you for sharing your experience. Best, Brandon

Hi Colin, At the moment, there is not a method to extract the zoom level for which the geopoint was captured at, however, I wanted to suggest the following workflow to see if it might satisfy your requirements. By setting the geopoint question to 'read-only' in the XLSForm, it will prevent the person submitting the survey from interacting with the geopoint question at all. I would imagine this might be preferable if your suspicion is that they are manually selecting the location within the map control. Another suggestion would be to set the accuracy threshold within the survey, and/or use location qulaity expressions to set warnings when a particular accuracy value is not met or prevent in the case that the accuracy is severely off. More on this here... Geopoints—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS In the meantime, please feel free to share your use case of utilizing the zoom level as a paramater in a calculation within the ArcGIS Ideas site, where we can get a sense of other workflows where this capability would be helpful. Best, Brandon

Hi Niklas, The behavior that you are encountering has been raised as an issue in our internal repository and we are currently investigating the cause. The list of available locators is controlled within the 'Geocoding' section of the 'Utility Services' tab when accessing the Settings of your ArcGIS Online Organization. The settings should honor what has been set for each individual locator (not shared with public unless specified for the individual locator). More info here..Configure utility services—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS As these settings are not currently being honored in the Survey123 web app, and it is leading to a refresh within any survey that contains an unshared locator, we will continue investigating and update you when we have more information. Thanks, Brandon

Hi, How is the inbox being used in this scenario? It sounds like you have all 15 surveys referencing the same feature service? Are the field workers editing existing records by using the inbox? Are they offline at time of collection? If the field workers are editing the same records using the inbox, the last one to submit their records from the inbox will overwrite the previous. I suppose more info would be helpful. For instance, Scenario 1 Field worker 1 - edits records 1,2,3 from inbox and waits to submit (records waiting in Outbox) Field worker 2 - edits records 4,5,6 from inbox and waits to submit (records waiting in Outbox) This should not cause an overwrite of data once records are "synced" Scenario 2 Field worker 1 - edits records 1,2,3 from inbox and waits to submit (records waiting in Outbox) Field worker 2 - edits records 1,2,3 from inbox and waits to submit (records waiting in Outbox) The last field worker to submit wins in this scenario. Let me know if this makes sense, and if possible please provide more details related to your workflow. Best, Brandon

Thanks for the update, Kevin. We do not have record of this specific error or behavior occurring in the past, but if you encounter it again please let us know so that we can take a further look with you. It almost seems like credentials were cached in Google Chrome which was allowing you to send the survey, while the others were honoring share settings that had been changed. In any case, please let us know again if this issue occurs in the future, or contact our Technical Support to take a closer look. Best, Brandon

Hi Cesar, You can achieve this by first creating a webmap in ArcGIS Online that contains the same feature layer that is being used by the survey (you can find this in the survey's designated folder in 'My Content' within ArcGIS Online). After adding the feature layer to the webmap and saving it, you can then reference the webmap within the Feature Report Template by utilizing the Feature Report syntax, specific to geopoints, which looks like the following... ${location|mapSettings:"10df2279f9684e4a9f6a7f08febac2a9":100000} In the example above, 'location' serves as the field name of the geopoint question, and "10df2279f9684e4a9f6a7f08febac2a9" serves as the webmap itemid. Once the report is generated, the result should include a geopoint displaying all records that have been collected in the feature layer for the survey (the same as you would see in the webmap it is referencing). You can manage what records will be shown by setting filters in the webmap that will be referenced when the report is generated. Best, Brandon
