There is one more capability in Smart Editor that may be useful though. It's not exactly the workflow you require, but it could be considered: If the related features you are creating are intersecting (directly on top or within a distance) with the source feature, you could setup an Intersection attribute action that would grab the key identifier so the features will be automatically related without having to manually enter that key? In this case, new related features can be created using the main template picker like shown in my example below. If there are multiple features intersected, you can enable the Value Picker option so the user can select which feature to related with (by selecting the key value).

We are aware this capability is missing but it is not currently in the project plan since development is starting to focus on the next generation editor for Experience Builder where new capabilities will be provided over time. If this changes, I will make sure to let you know. You are welcome to expand the Smart Editor widget as a custom widget for your needs with WebAppbuilder Developer Edition. You would need to expand the widget code to provide the capability to create new related features directly from an existing feature's attribute inspector.

Perhaps the Edit widget will be more appropriate for your workflow as it will allow you to edit the geometry of a related feature from its source feature? For example below, if I click to edit the Line layer, the related point feature is listed in the edit pop-up. And if I click through, I can now edit the point feature.

Hi @HayleighFisher , The Smart Editor only supports updating related tables (which means you can create new rows in the related table for a given related feature), but does not support creating new related feature geometries.

Hi @JoseSanchez , Presets are disabled from the Layer Settings and should now be setup from the section in the Attribute Actions tab. Please refer to the widget documentation for more information: Smart Editor widget—ArcGIS Web AppBuilder | Documentation

Hi @JulietK , # 3 says choose a tool or a feature to draw on the map. I added the ‘Select’ widget for selecting features I believe the selection of features has to be performed using the selection tools within the Batch Attribute Editor widget, and any selections you've performed using other widgets (e.g. Select widget) are not used. Based on your screenshot, I think you may need to make an adjustment in the Batch Attribute Editor widget configuration. You will want to enable the option to Select by Area, with the tools to be used for the selection. Then, when using the widget, you can use these selection tools to select the points to be edited. This will then display a pop-up window for editing the attributes of all the selected features.

Hi @Jefcoat_Nathan , I thought I should loop back on this. This will not be implemented into the Smart Editor due to some limitations with the attribute inspector. This requirement will be considered for the next generation editing widget.

Thank you for sharing! Based on your XLS, I see there is no Geopoint question. Is your repeat layer a related table? Technically, the Batch Attribute Editor widget only supports layers with a geometry that can be found in the web map (so no related tables).
