As you've specified, when comparing with the other date fields available in your service these are the only two with the described issue, so I'm curious to know more on how they were created. The only layers Viewer users will be able to edit are layers shared publicly (with everyone) and with public editing enabled. If you were to change these users to Creators instead, you should be able to restrict editing from the Smart Editor widget configuration in the application, or simply disable editing for that layer in the layer settings. ... Reviewing this conversation again, and thought I'd drop a note regarding templates: The Smart Editor uses the templates for editing, and you may experience issues if these are missing (which can happen if a field is added manually to the JSON without adding the attribute in the templates, or if a field is hidden using Survey123 by modifying the type rather than the appearance of the field). Hi @LLCCG , Thank you for posting your questions. It seems multiple things could be at play here. Here are a few things I would double-check: 1. The sharing of your editable feature layer - make sure it's properly shared with that group. 2. The permissions for the user in the group - are they allowed to edit (see user types and roles)? Please, would you be able also to share some screenshots of your application with the correct/expected behavior, and also screenshots of the unexpected error? @AbiDhakal This is not exactly like in ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro, but we've implemented an enhancement in Smart Editor to streamline the selection of editable features between the Attribute Table widget and the Select widget so it loads in Smart Editor. Hopefully this helps. @HélèneTouyéras I believe "Data that is not visible on the map can be selected and edited." is now resolved since the April 2021 update of ArcGIS online. Unfortunately, I believe the other issues are still present (e.g. if the required field was already empty, you will be able to preserve the existing "empty" value). ... View more

It seems like this is mostly resolved as of today - Edit and Smart Editor are providing a date picker and highlights today's date in most templates (although it appears today's date is still not highlighted in Dashboard theme).   ... View more

This is resolved in later versions of the widget. You may want to consider upgrading to a later version of Enterprise or using the latest version of the Smart Editor widget as a custom widget for their applications. ... View more
