Owen- I now see what you're talking about. I would suggest moving that "Design" button functionality into the Story Map Settings inside the three dots. It wasn't intuitive to me to click on that, for that functionality, when I was looking for options. Also, I want to replicate the classic story maps design where section headers exist WITH an image background. Is that possible in the new system? It's not jumping out at me, as a possibility.

Oh, right. I ran into this with a video this weekend while trying to begin to re-build a Classic Story map with the current toolset- it couldn't be linked, and then the file was "too large" etc. I was really frustrated & disappointed that I could not just rebuild my old story map since the new design tools just don't support the old design options (full screen video playing on the cover, header with a background image strip, etc). I gave up and will wait for the UC to address specific things at the ESRI product islands..

You don't have to upload it- you can host it elsewhere and then link it using the URL to the image.

Was just coming to post that. Example mod to your code: const image1862 = new ImageryLayer({
url: "https://gis.willcountyillinois.com/image/rest/services/Orthoimagery/AerialBW1862/ImageServer",
title: "Aerial Photo",
maxScale: 3000,
});

One of the worst ESRI decisions has been switching to the context sensitive Ribbon user interface. If you aren't accessing a ribbon area from the correct application state, then the ribbon section you want will be greyed out or the specific tool you need will not visible. The text description step by setp in the link I shared is a bit more specific. The first thing you have to do is create the layout, so in your screenshot, you would select Insert->New Layout and pick your desired page size (letter, etc). The layout should be open and then next you need to add the data frame onto the layout. Again, with the layout being the active tab, you would go Insert->Map Frames and select the map that you have set up that includes the point layer you want to base the map series off of. Again, with the layout being the active tab in your project, the Insert->Map Series command (chosing the Spatial option in it) then brings up the options to actually set up the map series.

I have experienced this within our Enterprise environment and posted about this in a thread here. The cliff note version was, in our case, our enterprise headless account had not been given privileges to some layers (manage->privileges in ArcCatalog or Pro's Catalog View). Once they were, the print service worked as it should.

Yeah, it's absolutely misleading to think that the EB widget is equivalent to its former WAB widget. ESRI had often "reimagined" the widget so functionality you relied on in WAB just doesn't exist in the EB version. The Near Me widget is my huckleberry and source of aggravation.

According to the EB Functionality Matrix, you should be looking at the Text Widget to obtain the same functionality. Sadly, the "functional equivalents" in EB from WAB usually include changes which make the EB widget act in a manner that isn't exactly equivalent to how it operated in WAB. Hopefully you have better luck than the rest of us trying to migrate from WAB to EB. Steve

I posted a similar idea last year here. I basically wanted to see the ability to create subfolders within Hosted in order to provide that organization.

You can probably target a specific CSS class to accomplish this but it would only work with a self hosted Developer edition version of EB

@AzizaParveen1 Instant apps are narrowly focused in functionality so it's really isn't an option for my use case. I'm really mystified why ESRI would choose to develop an experience that returns information to the user one way (results on screen, formatted as pop up content) and then completely change it when the user wants to preserve that information (print to PDF as spreadsheet content). You already have an export to CSV option so the Print to PDF option you have rolled out is duplicative of Export to CSV *and* it clips the output so who really finds that useful? This makes no sense at all.

Credit usage is laid out on the website here but you can always contact your rep to try and get a better idea for your situation (how many credits you get with your maintenance, etc). Something else that's less clear to me is if there is any "upcharging" of credit usage if you have something that suddenly becomes high demand (which would, in turn, require backside ramping up of capability). I don't see anything on the linked page about that but I feel like I had read or heard that somewhere. That's something your rep could probably confirm/rebuke.
