I have experienced this within our Enterprise environment and posted about this in a thread here. The cliff note version was, in our case, our enterprise headless account had not been given privileges to some layers (manage->privileges in ArcCatalog or Pro's Catalog View). Once they were, the print service worked as it should.

Yeah, it's absolutely misleading to think that the EB widget is equivalent to its former WAB widget. ESRI had often "reimagined" the widget so functionality you relied on in WAB just doesn't exist in the EB version. The Near Me widget is my huckleberry and source of aggravation.

According to the EB Functionality Matrix, you should be looking at the Text Widget to obtain the same functionality. Sadly, the "functional equivalents" in EB from WAB usually include changes which make the EB widget act in a manner that isn't exactly equivalent to how it operated in WAB. Hopefully you have better luck than the rest of us trying to migrate from WAB to EB. Steve

I posted a similar idea last year here. I basically wanted to see the ability to create subfolders within Hosted in order to provide that organization.

You can probably target a specific CSS class to accomplish this but it would only work with a self hosted Developer edition version of EB

@AzizaParveen1 Instant apps are narrowly focused in functionality so it's really isn't an option for my use case. I'm really mystified why ESRI would choose to develop an experience that returns information to the user one way (results on screen, formatted as pop up content) and then completely change it when the user wants to preserve that information (print to PDF as spreadsheet content). You already have an export to CSV option so the Print to PDF option you have rolled out is duplicative of Export to CSV *and* it clips the output so who really finds that useful? This makes no sense at all.

Credit usage is laid out on the website here but you can always contact your rep to try and get a better idea for your situation (how many credits you get with your maintenance, etc). Something else that's less clear to me is if there is any "upcharging" of credit usage if you have something that suddenly becomes high demand (which would, in turn, require backside ramping up of capability). I don't see anything on the linked page about that but I feel like I had read or heard that somewhere. That's something your rep could probably confirm/rebuke.

Our CAD files are in a known projection's coordinates so as long as the projection in the data frame is specified, we have no issue with them displaying, in the proper location, in their native format. I try as much as possible to not convert CAD files into GIS because it's duplicative & wasteful the vast majority of the time. I used to do this when Autodesk's product update cycle outpaced ESRI's but saving the CAD files in an older CAD version has alleviated that for me. @RTPL_AU I have added an idea as you suggested here.

Prompted by the discussion in this thread, please add an option setting with respect to CAD layers that will dictate the default nature of how Pro treats CAD files. In Arcmap, adding a CAD file prompted the user to choose between the most basic of layers within the CAD file: But with Pro, you are presented with a much more diverse suite of offerings (at least with the CAD files I work with): I would like to see an application options toggle which dictates whether Pro presents the user with the simple structure of CAD files as found in Arcmap or the complex structure found currently in Pro. I prefer the more simplistic approach from Arcmap and I suspect less knowledgeable users would prefer that as well. These users may not realize that you can double click into a CAD file to select individual layers. If they just select the CAD file and click ok, Pro loads *all* available layers and it becomes a mess inside their map. This was something that prompted the thread I linked above.

I believe I've read that Arcade is coming to Experience Builder so perhaps this is already in the works. If not.. While using the Near Me widget, the analysis results have a display field which is used for the record's title in the results. Unfortunately, the designer must chose from an existing list of attribute fields and one cannot select an expression field that exists in the layer in the web map of interest *or* create an expression field in this part of the Near Me Widget Analysis options for use as the display field. I work with census data and one of the attribute fields that stored the census tract or block group name is stored as text separated with semi-colons like this: "<Block Group>;<Census Tract>;<County Name>;<State>" and it would be very simple using Arcade to work with that string to parse out exactly how I want my label to be if I was able to use an Arcade expression rather than a physical field. Currently I'll have to add a new attribute field to my data in order to get the desired label for each record in the results. In summary please either add the ability to define an Arcade Attribution Expression for the Display Field in the Near Me Analysis Widget *or* make attribute expression found in the webmap accessible in the display field list.

Yeah, I believe you're right. The other stuff really adds clutter and confuses the matter but I added the polyline in Arcmap & Pro side by side and don't see a difference. I just now need to instruct my co-workers to actually drill into the CAD file to select the polyline layer instead of just adding the CAD file (which brings in all the various layers in it).

I tend to feel it most when editing because the contextual ribbon UI has to keep changing when you alternate between adding a feature & then modifying it. So many pregnant pauses..

One of the annoying issues in Pro is how it treats CAD files. In Arcmap, when you navigated to add a layer from a CAD file, you had the basic point | line | Polygon | Annotation options: But Pro seeks to make this more complicated: Is there an option / setting to get Pro to treat CAD files in the same way that Arcmap did? My read on this is that I have to go through the extra step of using the processing toolbox to merge the various layers together into an entirely new layer in order to get "one" polyline feature class. This seems to be another example of MORE work to do the same thing in Arcmap. Am I wrong?

So the print to PDF feature has rolled out and it's........extremely disappointing. It's basically a clipped output version of export to CSV. This is *not* what I was expecting. This really adds nothing beneficial compared to Export to CSV. What I had expected the PDF export functionality was to offer was that what the Near Me Widget returns as results: Essentially, the results posted on screen would be captured in a PDF. It's all HTML elements that EB has already generated so why is it so difficult to just dump that into a new browser HTML for the print to PDF? I've already done this in the 3.x JS API application I'm trying to get off of. Looks like I'm never going to be able to get off my JS API application..
