Hello there Gerand, Thank you for your question! At this point in time, I do not believe LiDAR volumetric change analysis is supported in ArcGIS Image Server / Raster analytics tools. At the current release, you are able to create / work with raster products based off of LiDAR but not work with LiDAR itself. I will continue to research this and update the post if I find anything. Please let me know if you have any additional details.

Hey there, It would be fairly difficult to replace the Web Adaptor with a proxy at this time (since you have content etc, this would most likely break federation). I would advise against this. Additionally, without a federated server, you would lose most of your portal content and functionality as well. Unless you plan on setting up a second server that would be left unfederated, this would be inadvisable as well.

Hello Blair, Thank you for brining this to our attention! If you haven't done so, please cross post this to ArcGIS Enterprise Ideas. There the community and product teams can take a look at this and vote on it.

Hey there Min, Thank you for your question. I researched this for a bit with my colleagues and found that Image Server does infact benefit from GPU's, but not for processing and rendering mosaic datasets. At 10.8.1 it seems that Deep learning workflows take advantage of GPU's see here: Configure ArcGIS Image Server for deep learning raster analytics "Support is available for input raster from data store, and raster analysis service for single node multiple GPU parallel processing for Deep Learning." I am continuing my research into this, and will reply an update if I find anything further.

Could you try running this prompt while logged into the windows service account that runs ArcGIS Datastore? It is a bit strange that running it as an admin results in a permission failure. Please let me know if this changes the behavior.

Hey there Dean, Could you add a screenshot of the error along with a .har capture of what happens when you try to ping server admin? Additionally, do you see anything in ArcGIS Server logs that may pertain to this issue?

Hey there Typically if you are upgrading a system and wish to retain Portal content and services, it is inadvisable to change the system architecture during the upgrade. I would upgrade first, then consider making architecture changes. The deployment scenario you laid out is a typical example of a base deployment. However. could you specify what you mean by "without using the web adaptor"? If you remove the WA from the equation, that would most likely break federation. Lastly, Migrate to a new machine in ArcGIS Enterprise goes over how to migrate each component of the BED. An alternative would be to follow this workflow: Migrate to a new machine in ArcGIS Enterprise using the WebGIS DR tool Please make sure to take images of the deployment before attempting any of these workflows!

@UnderstandFast , not so! There has been a change in licensing that allows any appropriate ArcGIS user to publish out to web, see here. The PowerBI Premium license is defunct. However, to publish a map enabled you do need to be a PowerBI Pro user, again all of this is in the doc above. Please let me know if I can further assist!

Thank you for replying. It appears that you are correct, this does not allow the updating of data in Maps for Office. Even when I tried to "trick" it by adding a new row, the point did not update. I would recommend logging a support case with us so that we can log this behavior.

Understandable, especially with the rapidly changing licensing model it can be hard to keep track (present company included!) I found this document that seems to address what you are asking: ArcGIS requirements. Essentially: Report designers: Creator-level user type or higher in ArcGIS Report consumers: Viewer-level user type or higher in ArcGIS

Anytime! Glad I could help. Standard accounts is a bit of a misnomer: its the base functionality of ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI. You don't need to sign in at all to use standard features. In my testing, non-organizational accounts are flat not supported in ArcGIS for PowerBI.

Hello there, This is a great question, and one that I can hopefully answer. Publish to web has been a bit of a challenge for ArcGIS Maps for PowerBI. Up until January, there were some scenarios that seemed to have worked (i.e. publishing to SharePoint Online) albeit a bit unstable. As of the January release of ArcGIS for PowerBI, we have officially begun to support Publishing to Web. However, it did bring in a new set of requirements: You must be signed in to a valid ArcGIS account with the appropriate user type. To create a map-enabled report in Power BI, you must be signed in to Power BI with a Pro or Premium account. Consumers do not need to be Power BI users to view published reports. Power BI data used to create the ArcGIS for Power BI map must use latitude and longitude coordinates for locations. If the Location field well contains addresses or standard boundaries, publishing to the web will not work. A published map can contain a maximum of 30,000 locations. The map must not contain secure data. Maps with secure data cannot be published. You must run the ArcGIS for Power BI publishing precheck before generating an embed code for the report. Consumers cannot sign in to published reports. You may notice that the PowerBI Add on license is not mentioned, due to its deprecation around the time of its release. To answer your questions specifically: Publishing to web requires an organizational ArcGIS Online Account (source) Reports that worked in December may not meet the requirements above. My suggestion to you is to log a support ticket requesting which functionality you are missing and request an enhancement be logged. The PowerBI team is very responsive to these requests, especially if they are tied to an idea in GeoNet. Please let me know if I can assist you further!
