Hey there rootmusic, You have to have an ArcGIS Online organizational account to use the Publish to Web functionality. (https://doc.arcgis.com/en/power-bi/get-started/account-types.htm) Furthermore, you also have to meet a set of requirements listed here: You must be signed in to a valid ArcGIS account with the appropriate user type. To create a map-enabled report in Power BI, you must be signed in to Power BI with a Pro or Premium account. Consumers do not need to be Power BI users to view published reports. Power BI data used to create the ArcGIS for Power BI map must use latitude and longitude coordinates for locations. If the Location field well contains addresses or standard boundaries, publishing to the web will not work. A published map can contain a maximum of 30,000 locations. The map must not contain secure data. Maps with secure data cannot be published. You must run the ArcGIS for Power BI publishing precheck before generating an embed code for the report. Consumers cannot sign in to published reports. Hope this helps!

Hello Lisa, At this time, I don't believe that ArcGIS for PowerBI supports this. If you have an ArcGIS Online account, you may be able to use ArcGIS Maps for Office to geoenrich your data with location properties, here is a doc for that: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/maps-for-office/design-and-use/enrich-your-data.htm

Hello there Lisa, thank you for your question. ArcGIS for PowerBI currently supports a single PowerBI data source. However, with new Enhancments made to reference layer joining, you may be able to publish one of the data sets to ArcGIS Online to have them visually appear on the map (and do some rudimentary analysis with) See this document ,for more info: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/power-bi/design/join-layers.htm

Theoretically, you can use PowerBI's built in REST connector to get this information. However, unless it's publicly available of ArcGIS Online (bad idea) you will have to refresh the connector whenever the token in the REST request expires. This is a known limitation with the software (specifically PowerBI's handling of tokens and credential saves).

Hey there, Can you confirm that you can search and add this reference layer in ArcGIS for PowerBI? Can you also confirm that you are running the latest version of PowerBI Desktop? what type of data is the reference layer made up of?

I can't speak too much about Docker Desktop Permissions, but after some searching, it appears that there are ways of running it without admin permissions: https://www.axians-infoma.com/techblog/allow-access-to-the-docker-engine-without-admin-rights-on-windows/ I would suggest following up on that thread for more details.

Hey there Sam, This is something I have dealt with in my past with Support Services. In short, after much experimentation, there is no supported way of implementing a DNS alias during the enterprise builder installation (https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/get-started/latest/windows/arcgis-enterprise-builder.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_3373BE50D5134A6AACF84A03531B613A) Adding an alias after the installation goes through will cause further issues since presumably ArcGIS Server will already be federated at that point. (https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/web-adaptor/latest/install/iis/configure-arcgis-web-adaptor-portal.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_327B938BBEE44CE19324325D4D39A9BE) Others may have different ways or means, but I wanted to weigh in from my perspective. You will be better off installing ArcGIS Enterprise manually or via chef.

I wanted to bring attention a blog Your Ideas in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9 written by my captivating counterpart in Customer Experience, @ThomasEdghill . New versions of ArcGIS Enterprise rely, in big part, on customer feedback. This can occur in many forms, but the most mainstream ways are by logging defects and enhancement requests through Technical Support, and logging ideas through Esri Community. Thomas' blog goes over the main ideas that were implemented in this release, and I encourage you all to go through and read it, but here are some of the features that were added through your feedback: ArcGIS Enterprise may now share content to multiple ArcGIS Online organizations by pairing distributed and partnered collaborations Administrative reports enable administrators to expose various usage statistics about your ArcGIS Enterprise organization's items and its members Multifactor authentication is now supported for built in users Federated ArcGIS Servers may now be assigned aliases to enable quick identification of which server does what This is just a short list, there are many more to see, please take a look at the main blog if you are interested to see how we implement your ideas into the software.

At this time, the visual is limited to standard geography. However, you may be able to add the land rights polygons to ArcGIS Online and use them as reference layers. There may even be interplay possible if you choose to join that data back to the data in PowerBI.

Hey there Gregory, This is somewhat of a known painpoint with the application, I'd suggest logging a support ticket to get this written up as a feature enhancement.

Hey there Mike, ArcGIS for PowerBI is first and foremost a mapping visualization tool that must have data from PowerBI to work. You are correct, to start any operations within the visualizer, you have to populate the Location Field Well (Or lat and Long). The visualizer will then become functional and allow you to pull in data from ArcGIS Online.
