For you, @JacobBurdick1 and @LeonS (as the most recent commenters) can you share some example screenshots of pane configurations that you have and would want to set as custom setups? For example, Leon, you talk about your "Database Administration" setup. Can you show us a screenshot of that set up and point out which panes are which (if it isn't easily discernable from the image?).  This will be helpful to ensure we're all on the same page when thinking about the implementation. Thanks @KarenShaw I understand the need to see and choose from the values that exist in the table. What I was trying to get at when asking about the option is whether you have scenarios where you want to see a full list of domain values even if those values do not exist in the table.  For example, you have a domain list of 50 values, but only 3 are used in the table. 'Get Unique Values' shows the 3. Perfect! Do you ever need to still see the full list when setting up your query? ... View more

@wayfaringrob The workflow you described is creating a selection using an attribute query, supposedly using Select by Attributes? So you end up with a selection in the data exploration process.  "The very next thing I do is go create a definition query that's either the same, inverse of, or similar to my selection query."  Are you saying that this present idea of converting a selection to a definition query would not satisfy what you're looking for? i.e. you just want a quick way of taking a query that you've constructed using Select by Attributes, and without making a selection, just take the query and push it into a definition query? The comments through this idea have to do both with interactive selections (no attribute query) as well as selections made using attribute queries. The latter, which is what I understand you to be requesting, should be easier and more robust as I understand it from the development side, whereas the former (an interactive selection not based on a structured query) would have more challenges. Either way, we'd be considering both when looking at this idea.  I can check back in with the dev team on this, but in the meantime, please provide further clarification about why you feel your new idea is distinct from this existing idea.  Thank you ... For the part about querying and comparing to ArcMap, that we are looking at through https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/arcgis-pro-select-by-attribute-show-all-values/idi-p/939970 (note that it is In Product Plan).  Question: in looking at your work when querying against a field with a domain applied, do you really need the option to use the full domain list, or you just want to choose from existing values in the table? We understand the desire for an option in the symbology case (see the other idea referenced above) but can you clarify whether for queries you are simply looking for the ArcMap behavior? Thanks  ... @Bud How do you have 'Remove layers that reference data overwritten by geoprocessing tools' set?  I'm not sure if updating the query layer through geoprocessing counts as an overwrite, or what the result would be but what happens if you do your workflow with that unchecked? Hi @andreamangeruca There is no status change on this yet. Make sure that you add your kudos to the idea. It sounds like you are advocating for the original request; that is, to turn off the feature flash altogether rather than speeding it up. Is that correct? I'm assuming you would still want a manual way, then, to indicate which feature is which. What are the main editing tools you use where you find this slows down your work? Thank you ... View more
