A co-worker was having this problem in Chrome browser. He had AdBlock turned on. We disabled AdBlock for the AGOL Content page and his "Share" button appeared!

Jordan: I did the same thing. Look in the upper right-hand corner for the "Get ArcGIS Earth" button, not the "Get it from Microsoft" button.

Publishing CSV data from a cloud drive (OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive) to ArcGIS Online (AGOL) as a hosted layer was introduced in a December 2017 blog post by Mike Minami. The end of the blog post mentioned new features to look for, including the ability to schedule data updates from the cloud file to your AGOL hosted layer. Have there been any developments in this area of AGOL? Thank you!

Is your connection to the network location a "mapped drive" or are you using an UNC path. Mapped drives are preferred, according to Esri. Being forced to work locally and then move your work to the network later is not a good workflow, in my opinion.

I have a Survey123 form with a “select_one Contents” question. The Contents options listed in the Choices tab of the survey form are shown, below. The Contents choices are sometimes two or three words and best practices indicate that values in the “name” field of choices cannot or should not contain spaces (so I used underscores instead of spaces). When surveys are submitted by field users, the answers are shown in the Survey123 web page using the “label” values, thus showing the spaces. When the survey is downloaded as a MS-Excel spreadsheet, the values in the Contents field display with the underscores where spaces should be. What magic can I perform in my survey XLSForm to get multi-word answers to be stored in the database with spaces between the words? Example: I would like to see survey answer = “Diesel_Fuel” stored as “Diesel Fuel”.

Michael: Have you visited the Item Details page in AGOL of your hosted feature layer and looked at the Settings tab? Is Enable editing check on?

Jeff: You bring up an excellent point. Esri promotes "Collaboration" with their software and services, and their products do that very well. But, under the hood, where we build and develop Survey123 end-user solutions, the group or team who build these solutions needs to not be siloed by whose account owns the published survey items in AGOL. It would be nice if Esri would allow one AGOL named user account that the S123 team could use for publishing survey forms.

I would like to see the option to store Survey123 files and folders on a network drive so anyone on the team could access them, modify them and republish them to AGOL.

James: I was excited to see the time error bug fix in report generation in the August 30th update to Survey123 website. I don't know if what I am reporting here is a bug or expected behavior. As shown in my earlier posting, above, I am using the "start" and "end" options in the "type" field to automatically get the start time and end time of the survey form. I take those results and format them and save them as text. I discovered that if the "type" field for my StartDTtext and StopDTtext items is "hidden", then my times are output in the S123 Word report incorrectly (see below). If the "type" field for my StartDTtext and StopDTtext items is "text", then my times are output in the S123 Word report correctly (see below). This is true even though my "bind::esri:fieldType = esriFieldTypeString". Thank you for your time Joe

Tylor: In ArcGIS Pro 2.2, it appears that there is still no Undo option when editing a Feature Service, whether a hosted feature service located in AGOL or a feature service hosted from your own ArcGIS Server with non-versioned data residing in an enterprise geodatabase. BUMMER!! I found this in the ArcGIS Pro online help: Message: Edits made to this layer cannot be undone—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop

This gets me pretty darn close! Since all of our Survey123 users have an enterprise login with their corporate email address, they all have the same 12 characters after their name. Here, all I do is keep the text that precedes the last 12 characters to their AGOL user name, albeit, with a dot between first and last name.

Ismael: I am using the XLS Form Type "start" and "end" to capture the date and time the form was opened and then submitted. The times recorded for start and end appear correctly in the survey's hosted feature service, but when printed to the a MS-Word report from the Survey123 webpage, the time is reported as 5 hours ahead (utcoffset). I am using your information in an attempt to fix my offset time, but I don't understand your last comment "Do not forget to keep your UTC date as a string." When I use the field types and calculations as shown, below, I get a 13 integer return. What should my field types be in order to return a date and time in my time zone? What am I doing wrong? The Survey123 Community and I appreciate your time and attention to our questions. Thank you! Joe
