Hi, We did change how empty fields were handled with this release to have consistent and expected results across all areas that calculations are evaluated (relevancy, constraints and calculations). We will be explaining in more detail later, but empty integers and decimals fields now evaluate to "Not a Number" (NaN) whereas they previously evaluated to 0. If you provide a default value of 0 for your quantity fields, the form will work as expected.

Destination Workspace - the workspace where the tables will be imported to; if an enterprise geodatabase it's the .sde file Destination Prefix - to try to ensure uniqueness in names (not running over anything already in the database since the script creates the tables in the destination workspace), I'm requiring a prefix text that will be put before the names of the tables; i.e. if your Survey has a table named 'VehicleReport', and you use the prefix 'FDsurvey', the name in the destination workspace will be 'FDsurvey_VehicleReport'.

What version of ArcMap are you using? The toolbox was made with 10.4. I just downloaded the repo from GitHub and can see the tool. You can also recreate the tool from the Python Script, AFAIK, it requires 10.3 as a minimum from the GP tools it uses.

The main workarounds would be to download a local copy in a format that recognizes domains: 1) The Data tab of the website has file Geodatabase as an option for download as a point-in-time copy 2) I've developed a script & tool to support long-term syncing of surveys offline (i.e., initial download on first run, later runs only copy over incremental additions) GitHub - tedrick/SyncSurvey: Synchronize a Hosted Featuer Service to an Enterprise Geodatabase . We're planning a blog post on it shortly.

It does look like an issue of ArcMap not picking up the descriptions of the domain and displaying them. Would you be willing a case with Tech Support on this?

If we're talking about a choice_list for a select_one, they are stored as domains on the service so the label should still show. This won't work on select-multiple, and we're working on a number/text conversion issue if your values are numbers.

Hi Joseph, Can you provide a copy of your survey? I have cascading selects in my samples successfully loading. We also have been working with relevant examples that are working correctly. We are in the process of pushing out the 1.8 release; the Android store received it first as there is no review time. Our documentation will be updating today.

Static notes can be styled using HTML. Currently, there's an issue using dynamically set values & HTML formatting that is logged.

So this might be even more unusual. Can you get the actual URL produced in the feature pop-up (after the text has been substituted? Right-click, copy link, paste into a text editor?) I've set a test Portal over to Dutch and used a double field from a test service. In the display, I see local-formatted numbers (i.e., 270,69 ), but in the link it presents itself as English (default) locale ( 270.69 ). It does make sense that a locale'd link from a web map would be processed by an application in the same locale, though that cannot be guaranteed; the apps must agree on a locale for transmission and then convert into the locale of display.

Take a look at this video: Survey123 for ArcGIS – XLSForm: Enabling CSV Data into your Survey - YouTube You create a separate CSV file with the lookup data, dave it in the survey's media folder This works best with a select_one, as you can control the value that you are looking up, rather than have someone manually enter it. you use pulldata() in calculates to look up the information in the lookup table base on the code that has been selected.

This would be a good use of the pulldata function; would create a CSV of the person & instruction, and then use pulldata to select the instruction based on the name: Formulas—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

Hi, When I publish a form based on your Excel file, I can see the same error; in fact, the error also occurs when trying to add a point via the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, which indicates a problem with the service. One aspect I noticed is the long name of your Excel sheet (77 characters), which creates an equally long table name when published. I was able to publish with a shorter name and add data successfully.

Right now, the process you are describing (adding in additional fields for the extra metadata and post-processing after data is submitted) would be the correct method. As you've noted, there are several use cases and we've received a few of them. Could you place this in ideas.arcgis.com - I'm not seeing an appropriate entry there and your description covers well the issue.

Could you share the URL that is being generated? If the URL is getting values based on the values of an existing feature, can you provide details for how those are being supplied? It seems like a mismatch in localizations between products.
