Thanks Peter Klingman‌! This was an issue we were having also. I had already had an uploaded image present so I navigated to Settings > General > Shared Theme > Manage shared theme colors and changed the header background and text colors. It fixed it as well. Thanks!!!

Thanks Philip. The goal is to have a dropdown of school names based on state selected. I currently have a working cascade using a list where I'm filtering the schools based on state selected. However, I want to move away from the dependence on the Excel file to a .csv file with additional attributes (if possible). I'm generating this .csv file using external files and software and it's very easy to update. I have a 'schools.csv' in the media folder with NAME,STATE... schema. For testing purposes, I have a text type named 'test_state' that holds the value of state (ex: 'FL', in lieu of a choice filter) but my second control, with autocomplete appearance, only pulls in the first school name (however correctly filtered using 'FL') from my external .csv. pulldata('schools','NAME','STATE', ${test_state}) Do I have to add a list named 'state' in the choices tab (adding all 50 states) in order to take advantage of the external .csv to populate the autocomplete? ..... I may have found additional help info here

Is there a proper way to use pulldata() to populate a select_one type with autocomplete appearance? Workflow is a schools.csv file with the 'state' and 'school'. Cascading select.

UPDATE: In ArcGIS Survey123 online under 'Share Survey' - when I changed the 'What can submitters do?' option from 'Only add new records' to 'Add and update records' it works fine. However, as Ismael Chivite mentioned you cannot edit the schema at this point unless you want to start over.

Hey James, are you able to get this process to work with 3.9? I decided to revisit this and create a project from scratch but it will not allow data submissions. Note: In survey123.arcgis.com I'm using the 'Open the survey in the Survey123 field app directly.' option. This is what my ArcGIS Online Content folder contains after following the above post: Form - public shared Feature Layer (hosted, view) - public shared Feature Layer_stakeholder (hosted, view) - owner shared Web Map - owner shared Feature Layer (hosted) - owner shared Scratching my head. In Survey123 Connect with an image type, how can you prevent users from seeing the folder icon for uploading a photo instead of using the camera icon to take a photo?

Great write up Ismael Chivite‌. Interested if you will be updating this post, particularly the Create a view for the Survey123 web and field apps next section? After creating my survey and related objects I decided to do a complete forklift/overhaul, for security sake, and follow these directions as it relates to the views. However, this step: Click on the Form item to open its item details page, then click on Create View Layer. You can choose any title for your feature layer view. does not track. If you click on the form item there is no 'Create View Layer'. Instead you'd have to click on the Feature Layer. Thanks!

I have a feature service created in ArcGIS Survey123‌ using Connector which collects the following data: The image above is displaying 4 records with blank x,y,z coordinates. If I have a total of 25 items I'll be creating points for 100 items for 4 records. I'm interested in suggestions for the best method of automating the creationg of points for each of these 'items' (item_9, item_10, ...). Bonus, relating the images taken at each location prefixed with item_9, item_10 ... Thanks in advance.

First, I understand the CentOS 8 linux distro is 'not supported' to run with 10.6.1 yet some of us push the envelope... and I'm hoping this isn't related to CentOS 8... I cannot get ArcGIS Server to start with the OS and I've followed these steps: To configure ArcGIS Server to start with the operating system follow these steps: Within a command shell, switch to root user. Copy <ArcGIS Server installation directory>/framework/etc/scripts/arcgisserver.service unit file to /etc/systemd/system using the command: $ cp <ArcGIS Server installation directory>/framework/etc/scripts/arcgisserver.service /etc/systemd/system‍ Run the following command as root user to automatically create the links in /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants: $ systemctl enable arcgisserver.service‍ To verify that the systemd service is properly configured, restart the service and check its status. $ systemctl stop arcgisserver.service $ systemctl start arcgisserver.service $ systemctl status arcgisserver.service‍‍‍ It fails during the $ systemctl start arcgisserver.service command. In the Collector UI Is it possible to set the preferred output to show the coded value versus the description? Ex: Coded Value = "Yes" (or "Y"), Description = "Yes, the condition is present."

Has anyone successfully 'transposed' a dgrid for a JSAPI application? I want the column names to show in the first column and the values to show in the second column, much like a 'Properties' window in Visual Studio. The dgrid was introduced with the 1.7 release of Dojo and is a simplified, improved replacement for the older dojox data grid. [ATTACH=CONFIG]28556[/ATTACH]
