I too was getting this error when trying to run npm ci from the client folder. Although I was trying to install Experience Builder 1.9. npm ERR! gyp ERR! find VS You need to install the latest version of Visual Studio What I did to resolve: Install Visual Studio, not Visual Studio Code - I did not realize these are two different things Once VS is installed, use Visual Studio Installer to modify the install and add on Desktop Development with C++ Then, uninstall node.js 18.21.1 and install 14.21.1. Made sure to uncheck the box for Chocolatey. Hope this helps someone down the road.

I'm a complete novice with arcade and would like to know if what I'm envisioning is possible. I have 2 hosted feature layers with slightly different schemas. What I want is to 'append' these into a single layer/data source that I can use in my dashboard. Rather than using the ArcGIS Python API to handle creating a new hosted layer, the append, and field mappings, can I use arcade to create a FeatureSet (?) to use as a data source in my dashboard? Layer One Fields: Name_1, Color_1, Type Layer Two Fields: The_Name, The_Color, Type Appended Layer: Name, Color, Type

I am trying to evaluate the possible answers of previous select_one questions and calculate a 'Yes' or 'No' into a final question. if 'pro_license' = 'No' and 'front_end_complete = 'Yes' then 'registration_complete' should be 'Yes' OR if 'pro_license' = 'Yes' AND 'front_end_complete = 'Yes' AND 'backend_end_complete = 'Yes' then 'registration_complete should be 'Yes' Can someone help consolidate this logic into a single expression? I usually set my symbology and popups in Pro, then publish. If I have to add a new layer to the service, or the schema changes, you can add it to your Pro map and configure symbology/popups for the new layer. The existing symbology/popup config should remain. Then overwrite the service.

Use a select by location to select features within your buffer. Then run another select by location (use remove from current selection) and select within your second feature class. That should leave you with features that are within your buffer but not within your second feature class.

@DougBrowning Icons are a great idea. I have roughly 20 Surveys with nearly identical names and need a better system to open the surveys. It is incredibly inefficient to click through 19 surveys till I find the right one. I would even be ok with the cursor hover where if I place my cursor on an icon, I get a small popup with the full name, owner, last edited, etc.

On the homepage of Survey123 Connect (3.13.234), I need a way to list surveys by title so I can see the full name of the survey. I currently have 3 surveys titled similarly, each with a different suffix. I have to open each survey to figure out which is the correct one to be working in. It would be great to have an option to view items by List, Table, or Grid, like we can do in Portal:

I am trying to use the following formulas to auto-populate two text fields, First and Last name, for the user accessing a survey. pulldata("@property", 'userFirstName') pulldata("@property", 'userLastName') The doc here is where I pulled the formula. I can pull the email and username but not the first and last name. Survey123 Connect returns Unknown instead of the first and last name. What formula do I use to pull the first and last name through Survey123 Connect?
