I spoke with the ArcGIS Pro team during the conference, specifically at the expo. They did understand this idea fully and told me it's not 100% off the table and that they are considering it. I guess this contradicts what @SavageTrimble heard during the afternoon plenary. So...who knows...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks, Josh. I see what you're saying about the nested conditions and will try that. I did skew the Fort and User names a bit for anonymity, they are not actually similar at all so your second suggestion will not work for me. I did figure out a solution using a linked CSV table that works quite nicely. I uploaded a CSV table to my portal which acts like a lookup table. This elimates the need for nested formulas and makes it easier to manage over time. Work with CSV data in ArcGIS Survey123 - Esri Community

I have a simple formula set up in Survey123 Connect that auto-calculates a Text value based on a selected value from a previous question. This works correctly in the Connect app, but when I publish to my Portal and open the Web Form, the auto-calculation is broken and only returns True or False. if(selected(${installation}, 'Fort A'), 'User A', '') or if(selected(${installation}, 'Fort B'), 'User B', '') or if(selected(${installation}, 'Fort C'), 'User C', '') Can anyone take a look at my formula and point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I found the root cause was that my survey name in Connect contained spaces. If I save as with a new name, replace the spaces with underscores, the issue is resolved and I can now open the survey in a web browser.

First-time Survey123 user here. I am running ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 and Survey123 Connect v 3.13.234. Opting to use Connect here since we need to include condition auto-calculations. In Survey123 Connect, I have created a short survey and published it to my Portal. During publishing I selected Options > Create Web Form. This survey is fully intended to be used by desktop users, no mobile devices. When I try to open the form from Portal, I get this error: This survey cannot be accessed in the web app. Please contact the survey owner to republish the survey with 'Create web form' enabled. Error: Missing If I go to the form's item page in Portal, select Manage in Survey123 Website, I get an error: The survey is not accessible or does not exist. Please ensure the signed in user (*********) can access this survey and that the survey link is correct. The survey works fine in Connect, how do I access the survey via a web browser? I upgraded Connect to 3.15.165 and republished with the same results. I need to send the survey link to users to complete in a web browser.

You're right. In order to do this, you would need to publish to ArcGIS Enterprise rather than using hosted feature layers in AGO. With ArcGIS Enterprise, you set up Attribute Rules in ArcGIS Pro, and publish your service from a registered data store. Then, your Response Time will dynamically update based on the Dispatch and On Scene values. Currently, AGO does not support Attribute Rules. Another potential solution (although not 100% dynamic), write a python script using the ArcGIS Python API that will handle the calculation. If you put it on a task schedular, it can update the hosted feature layer in near real-time automatically.

Here are two methods: This one requires the Production Mapping Extension - How To: Create centerlines from polygons in ArcGIS Pro (esri.com) This one only requires an Advanced license, the document is for ArcMap but the same workflow works in Pro - How To: Create centerlines from polygon features in ArcMap (esri.com) Another option is purchasing the ET Geowizards add-in. At my previous job we had it and I believe it had a createCenterlines tool. Think it was a few hundred bucks per year for a license.

Old post but figured I'd post my solution incase it helps anyone else. This function will zip the geodatabase and skip any lock files. I was trying to implement the zip in a larger codebase and kept running into locks. def zipGDB(inputGDB): gdbFile = str(inputGDB) outFile = gdbFile[0:-4] + '.zip' gdbName = os.path.basename(gdbFile) with zipfile.ZipFile(outFile, mode='w', compression=zipfile.ZIP_DEFLATED, allowZip64=True) as myzip: for f in os.listdir(gdbFile): if f[-5:] != '.lock': myzip.write(os.path.join(gdbFile, f), gdbName + '\\' + os.path.basename(f)) print('Completed zipping: {}'.format(gdbFile))

I don't think this is supported. You would need to upgrade your Portal to a version that supports Exp Builder and build your app from there.

While that's a good solution, you should dig into your ELA with esri for your ArcGIS Enterprise license. The way ours has always been structured is such that every user must use a named user account and 'shared' accounts are not allowed. Even for things like a generic pseudo-admin account set up for the sole purpose of changing service ownership. I talked to our esri account manager about this in the past and they recommended the custom role assigned to specific users.

Just to note, if you federate your GIS Server with ArcGIS Portal, the security/ownership of services is going to use the Portal security module. So, you're going to run into the same issue with ownership and service visibility, regardless of whether the services are Hosted or Registered. If you choose not to federate (aka run a stand-alone ArcGIS Server) then I think this will work. But if you are a heavy portal user you now have to manually bring your services into Portal by adding layers by the service URL.

I'm pretty sure this is the intended design of ArcGIS Portal (and it's a big pita). You can only overwrite services owned by yourself. For example, if I publish a service. Then a week later someone else needs to come and overwrite this, an Admin must first change ownership of the service to the other user in Portal. In the past, I've created a pseudo-admin type role in Portal and assigned this role to certain users I trust. They can update ownership of services to whomever. One downside is granting Admin privileges to a user now gives them access to view/edit settings in the GIS Server Manager. Note: We are running ArcGIS Enterprise and publish mostly services from a SQL Server DB to a federated GIS Server rather than publishing Hosted Services. But I think my points above still apply. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you are indeed doing what Dan is recommending and the results are still off, here is another solution that has worked for me. You need LiDAR points that overlap into your other iFSAR raster area. Convert these to a point geometry and covert your iFSAR raster to points. Erase the area where your lidar overlaps from iFSAR points. Create a TIN using the LIDAR overlap and iFSAR points > then convert this to a raster. This should 'smooth' out the elevations along this edge. It will not be perfect but should be slightly better. Then you mosaic that with your original LiDAR DEM.
