Does that bug cover the number of decimals changing in the label?

Kory Kramer I see something similar in 2.3.1, albeit not with all color ramps. Note in my TOC, the purple is a narrower band than in the legend. If I reverse the color scheme, same effect And here's something really whacky....when I start playing with settings, note how the legend element resizes itself..... The reason why....note how the number of decimal places is changing based on changing statistics, despite the "Label" only showing 3 decimal places. Even if I change the label, the legend item continues to throw many decimal places into the label when changing the statistics type.

I don't think so.....? But that would make sense....but what doesn't make sense is my previous screen shot, which shows the license checked out and offline, and, restarting Pro, showing it "0" days. Panic. But I'm inclined to agree with you. I'm not in a position to repro, but if you were to edit hosts file to block your ptl connection while Pro 2.3.1 is open.....there may be some additional things going on with this bug at 2.3.1 that we didn't see with 2.3 that might be relevant.

Despite a concurrent license from 2018.1, and checked for offline, a down-portal (power failure) is now threatening to close all my 2.3.1 clients, But not my 2.2.x clients. Is there a new licensing requirement in 2.3.1, that, despite having an offline license, if you lose your Portal connection, it shuts down anyway?

Scott Harris Kory Kramer this may be totally irrelevant but....in trying to repro (chasing down the layer file cause), I notice that in Pro 2.3.1, when I create a layer file, the xml header is showing version 2.3.0....

You could use python and Wget - GNU Project - Free Software Foundation to automate this, I wouldn't use a shapefile, though, use Updating your hosted feature services with ArcGIS Pro and the ArcGIS API for Python

We have had numerous problems with Pro and default things such as the project GDB and TBX being on a network share, which is what Onedrive is, that are all resolved by hacking things up so the default GDB and TBX are always on the physically-local hard drive. As Dan Patterson suggested, those "cloudy places" should never be used with Pro.

Argos has a sort-of-api How to access to your satellite data ? - Argos that you can pipe into ArcGIS GeoEvent Server | Real-Time Mapping and Analytics - Esri. You could go with ESRI Managed Services in Amazon to get this rolling, the infrastructure investment to host this on your own will be quite prohibitive. But to answer your question directly, no, you can't do this with Pro alone: you'll need some sort of enterprise solution to ingest the data from Argos

I'll explain my down vote, because I hate down voting! cmdexec is a huge security risk in SQL. Enabling it is like sending donations to ISIS. I can't imagine a possible scenario where cmdexec should be enabled in a production SQL. I'm afraid that ESRI will think this is a great idea, bake something in the next version of SDE that turns it on, and then when we upgrade to SDE version 20.3.99, the alarms go off in the dark IT cave. I do a lot of SDE data automation with Python, but I do it with Windows Task Scheduler, and it is working with Python 3 and Pro 2.1.

The big one is that you can start editing a feature service as soon as it's loaded in the map without having to "Create Local Copy for editing", which is a big plus.

Make sure that the service account running ArcGIS Server has read/write/connect to the DB. You can register SDE as a datastore, but publishing will check those permissions and fail if they don't exist.

There is a known issue in Pro where if there is any break in connectivity to SDE, you have to close and restart Pro to get your connections to your layers to work. Curious to see if you get this with a brand new project. I'm not seeing this with 2.3.1 or 2.2, so this might be a SDE issue that best resolved through TS. What happens when you upgrade your SDE to 10.6.x?

"Not a good day for contours.." Hilarious. Are you running this out of a FGDB? If so, is it on a network share or local? If local, what type of hard drive? SSD? Spinning Platter Antique?
