Hi @ChristyChristensen Here is the page that has the status: https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/the-split-tool-causes-a-shift-in-vertices-and-polylines-bug-000165171 This page has the definitions of each status https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug-enhancement-request-status The good thing is we haven't seen any cases where the bug wasn't just a visual overlap/gap at scales beyond 1:1. In all the cases reported to us the vertices aren't moving more than the XY tolerance of the dataset. One suggestion is to use a topology with the same tolerance as the data and validate it - no rules are needed since there is always one implied rule of 'Must Be Larger Than Cluster tolerance'. If you are experiencing gaps overlaps that are larger than the XY tolerance of the data, then please reach out to Esri Technical Support because that would not fall under this bug.

Hi @BenCobbing1 I see now. I can reproduce it. The development team will investigate it further. If you need to track it, you can contact Esri Technical Support. If you want to continue editing in a Geographic Coordinate System, try using the combined "Direction and Distance" constraint while sketching and snapping to the edge like this: The direction and distance values will auto populate from the location where you right clicked while snapping to that edge. At that point you can just update to the desired distance value, while leaving the direction value to the value it was populated with. This should result in topologically correct, overlapping lines like you want.

Hi @BenCobbing1 It sounds like you have constrained the segment to 50m using the Distance constraint and then you are using another constraint. Which one? You said "either the Distance or Direction" constraint. If you choose the Distance constraint, you already did that in step 1. So are you updating the Distance that you already input? If you choose the Distance constraint, as soon as you enter a distance value the segment gets created because it has all the information it needs (Direction plus Distance) which means you will have no chance to snap. I assume you mean you first set the Distance constraint and now you want to manually snap to the edge of the existing line like this: As long as you have the Edge snapping agent on, it should work. If you mean something else entirely, can you please clarify with the steps you are following? Thanks!

Hi @SunkubbDev As @AyanPalit suggested, can you please clarify the specific use case that you have for adding a setting to control storing empty strings as "" or null in ArcGIS Pro. We'd like to make sure that there aren't other ways to achieve what you are requesting, since Pro does differ in some ways from ArcMap.

@BarbaraDabney A few suggestions: Try changing the symbol that the green line uses to see if something in the symbology is causing the offset. Try adding the line and point feature classes to a new map by dragging and dropping them from the geodatabase into the map. Are there any transformations required on the data? Maybe one is missing? Check in the map's properties > transformation tab.

@CalvinHarmin Yes, that does seem like a valid suggestion to improve the software. Perhaps it's best to include the body of your last comment as a separate idea? - Just to keep the bugs (and the confusion caused by them separate).

@CalvinHarmin Here are some notes from my testing of the latest version of Pro (3.5), #1 only occurs when there are duplicate domain descriptions, which is a bug https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/when-accessing-the-attribute-editor-via-the-edit-and-at-bug-000173197 #1 also only occurs for me in the Attributes Pane, not in the table: #2 sounds like a valid Idea/ENH for the Geodatabase. I would recommend entering a separate Idea for that, with the geodatabase label. Here is a related Idea for adding a GP tool: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-ideas/check-for-duplicates-in-coded-value-domain/idi-p/964668 #3 Is a bug, I agree, and could be related to #1 but I will definitely investigate. Since the issues with the Attributes Pane that you describe here are mostly caused by BUG-000173197, I'll close this Idea, as bug should be addressed by Support as a first step. Please contact them so you can follow the status of BUG-000173197. They can also help determine when the other issue may have been addressed within the Attribute Table (where fields that have duplicate domain descriptions, but have an invalid domain can't be fixed ).

@SarahKendell Thanks for that additional information. The development team is not aware of this issue, but would like to understand under what conditions it occurs. It would be best to work with Esri Technical Support so they log a defect. My biggest questions are: What coordinate system does the map use? What coordinate system does the point feature class use? What transformation is in use in the map, if any? Feel free send me a direct message with this information if you can.

@SarahKendell that's unexpected behavior. What version of ArcGIS Pro are you seeing it occur?

Hi @SteveIrving Can you please clarify a bit more - perhaps with some screenshots of the scenario? My best guess on what you are rereferring to involves having Map Topology enabled and then using the Reshape Edges tool in ArcGIS Pro but that's just a guess. Here is an example of reshaping an intersection of two selected edges of an intersection (edges are selected by holding down the left mouse button and dragging along edges to trace a valid selection):

@DavidSolari This may help. You can quickly fix gaps in a topology with one click by using the Align Edge tool. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/align-topology-edges.htm With the tool enabled in a map with a topology, hover over the edge to be edited (solid yellow line) and click once.:

@MarcinLatos1 I'll close this for now until you can clarify what you mean by objects. Graphics elements in a layout? Graphic features in a map? Features in a map? 3D Objects in a scene? etc.

@MR14 Is it possible that you are running into https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/preview-anchor-for-preset-template-does-not-show-when-a-bug-000168395 ? This bug seems limited to UN features that have a containment association.

That is unexpected behavior, and not something I can reproduce so far. If you want to get to the bottom of it, I would suggest reaching out to Esri Technical Support. Things that can help narrow it down: Does it happen in a new project? Does it happen with only certain layers in the map? If so, what kind of data are you working with?
