Ok thanks @ConnorWoods . I passed this info to the team that works on the framework. Hopefully it leads to a better experience in future releases.

@ConnorWoods We haven't received reports of problems with editing in 3.7. Have you contacted Esri Support? They can assist with troubleshooting problems like this. Maybe a clean uninstall/reinstall is in order?

This is available in ArcGIS Pro when in Follow Feature mode. You can change the distance between the annotation feature and the boundary feature by holding the CTRL key and dragging the annotation feature to the desired offset. Hi @AndrewWillingale My original responses were in regards to bugs that were fixed in version 2.x and involved copy/pasting in the same project and same map. My advice for you is to try your workflow in the same map. To do this, you can copy the layer from project B into the contents of project A - and then try copy/pasting features from/to the layers in the project A. It should result in the outcome you desire: specific features from a feature class in GDB B copied into a feature class in GDB A. This method should be more reliable, and gives you more control, since there is a field mapping control that exists for layers in the same map: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/configure-field-mapping.htm If there is a bug with copy/pasting between projects, it's best to create a case with Esri Technical Support: https://support.esri.com/en-us/contact

@Hugh_Yellowstone It sounds like you need to work with M-enabled features. Once you have that, you will get this option in the Merge tool (more info) ArcMap had similar behavior for M-enabled lines.

I moved this Idea to the CAD-BIM-Revit label, but in the meantime Editing tools include the Transform tool, which can rubbersheet editable layers. DWG files aren't editable until you import them to a Geodatabase using a tool like 'CAD To Geodatabase' but that could be a solution for you.

@Amanda__Huber We have seen similar behavior when non-nullable fields are used with subtypes. I'm not sure if unchecking the option to 'Warn on subtype change' would help to avoid it in your case or not. I suggest contacting Esri Support to have bug submitted.

Bummer... I tried to see if some combination of Pro UI scaling or Windows text scaling would cause it on my end, but couldn't see what you see in your screenshot. Is there anything unique about your system in regards to display? For example, are you using a remote desktop connection or something like Citrix? Maybe something with your graphics drivers? Maybe try switching the rendering engine that Pro uses to see if that has some effect (Options > Display > Rendering Engine)?

Maybe something is going wrong with the size of the window, which I think can be "reset" by having Pro create a fresh ArcGISSettings.xml file by navigating to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\ESRI\ and then renaming the ArcGISSettings.xml to ArcGISSettings.xml.old. You should get help with that process through Esri Technical Support.

@bdparrick oh yeah! that's not going to work for you then. Sorry for leading you down the wrong path. I agree there is room for improvement with this banner popping up when you don't want to see it.

Hi @bdparrick why show that there's a template missing? It's not missing, the layer just isn't editable. In that case, the template is actually being filtered from the Create Features pane. It exists in the map and can still be modified in the Manage Templates pane for future use. having it show up under 'templates not listed' is misleading when it's never going to be editable. One suggestion: If you know the template is not needed in your map, you could delete it from the Manage Templates pane. Regarding your video: check out the GIF that was posted at the top of this idea originally. Prior to 3.5 the notification was closing itself and then reappearing every time someone collapsed a group without closing it using the X. In your video, it looks like you are hitting the X manually and then it comes back when you collapse a group. Hopefully the 3.5 and beyond behavior is less annoying 🙂 but feel free to log your idea about turning off notifications in Create Features.

@bdparrick there isn't a way to disable it, but the problem where it keeps popping back up was fixed in 3.5. Are you still seeing that as a problem? As to why you get a notification when the layer is not editable: there are a lot of reasons why a layer could be not editable, including reasons beyond the end users control. They may not realize whey their templates are missing and the banner would hopefully help them in that case.

@JoeBryant1 Regarding your idea for bringing the Last Value method to Attribute Rules, did you see this blog that shows how to simulate the Last Value method?: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/data-management/simulate-session-attributes-with-attribute-rules-lastvalue And just an FYI regarding feature templates: you mention setting up default values for templates can be cumbersome with a lot of templates, which is true, but did you ever try using the Active Template pane for setting temporary default attributes while creating new features: For example, this value of '88' will be remembered as long as this template remains active: You can also revert to the default values or save the attributes to a new feature template, if needed:
