@ZachBodenner If you are willing to change your primary key in your relationship from an OBJECTID to a GlobalID you can change the relationship class split policy to Duplicate Related Objects: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/relationships/relationship-class-split-policy.htm

You may want to ask over at ArcGIS Field Maps It looks like related feature editing is supported in a web map so it seems like it should work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0oR2bsyFbI

>Many GP tools do show it (haven't used every single one so cannot say all) but other processes in the app need to have the same; or you can add a global indicator. This is the part that I'm most interested in. If there are other processes besides geoprocessing tools or editing tools that are doing editing, they definitely should be detecting and indicating the status of an active edit session. I was under the impression that you recently encountered this scenario, but it sounds like you are speaking more generally about including a global indication of the status of the edit session. Thanks for the additional details @RTPL_AU

Hi @RTPL_AU , Interesting idea. I'm just curious, which tool you were using that didn't inform you of the active edit session?

@BriannaF You mentioned: instead of being limited to Editable Layers, Snappable Layers, or Visible Layers Can you expand on why you feel limited with the current software offering of "Snappable Layers" as an option? I agree that having a choice of a specific layer to work with Vertices and Nodes would be helpful, but I'm just trying to understand what issues you ran into with using "snappable layers" as a way of choosing which layers work with Vertices and Nodes. Thanks for any more information!

Hi @KerryAlley, I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the tool. My suggestions: If you have a requirement for using the Transfer Attributes tool that can't be resolved by using Copy/Paste Attributes in the Attributes Pane, perhaps the best solution is to turn off the imagery layers instead of trying to make them unselectable - I think some imagery layers have some kind of restriction on toggling the selectablility (I'm still researching that behavior). try using the Attributes pane to copy and paste attributes since it gives you more control over which features you are working with (step can be found here). I will try out your workflow and report any issues to the development team, but if you run into other issues, feel free to reach out to Esri Technical Support

@KerryAlley I'm not sure how that could happen. On my end, when I include a raster (tif) in my contents pane, it's automatically not selectable or editable - and therefore isn't a valid source or target for the Transfer Attributes tool: I also don't see it doing any flashing on my end when I use the Transfer Attributes tool with my regular feature classes. Can you narrow down the type of imagery layer that was causing the issue for you?

@KerryAlley I would not expect a full screen flash. I would have to see a video to be able to tell what could be going on. Esri Technical Support can capture this information if you think it's a bug. If I was troubleshooting this, the first thing I would try is to check on the selectability and editability of the layers (see 1 and 2 in the image below). Source layers must be selectable .Target layers must be selectable and editable. I would then prune my list of editable layers down to only my intended target layer(s) (3 in the image below): -Scott

@LisaRandolph_Thurston I'm glad you have a solution using the Delete key. FYI the delete vertices tool is for selecting and deleting vertices in one action. You can also use it to delete individual vertices by clicking on them.

@RTPL_AU I agree about the number of steps, just wanted to give you and others a possible way forward until such a tool exists.

@RTPL_AU You can achieve this with the editing grid, snapping, and the anchors for the rotate tool. Turn on the editing grid. Set the grid's orientation and rotation using the command found on the grid settings pop-up - so that the grid aligns with the segment that you want to align to. Open the Rotate tool > hold CTRL key and click to place the primary anchor on a segment of the feature you want to align > hover over somewhere along same segment > hit S key to place the secondary anchor. Rotate until the segment is snapped to the inferred grid intersection.
