esrilogo-resize1.jpgWith the release of ArcGIS 10.2.1 and its related products, and in response to Microsoft's plan to end support for Windows XP in April 2014, the 10.2.1 release of ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS for Server, ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Reader, and Runtime SDK (for Java and WPF) are the last release to support XP and Vista platforms. The Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2003 R2 server operating systems will also be unsupported after ArcGIS 10.2.1.

In addition, ArcGIS 10.2.1 now supports Windows 8.1 platforms. Please refer to our updated system requirements page for more information.

If you are searching for information regarding the end of support for Windows XP and Windows Vista, please visit Microsoft's life cycle policy webpage.
