ArcGIS Hub site editors can now unlock expanded functionality in their site content catalog. When signed in to a site workspace, look for the Upgrade catalog notice on the Catalog > Content pane. Select Upgrade to upgrade your site's catalog for added functionality. When you upgrade, this new catalog functionality gives you more control… keep reading to learn more.

Within ArcGIS Hub, we’ve streamlined the Gallery card by consolidating it with the Events card. Moving forward, both will now live under a single component: the Gallery card.

Quick Summary:  Your site visitors will experience no visible changes when viewing a Gallery card. Everything should look and function the same — but behind the scenes, we’ve made some meaningful improvements to simplify and extend card management.

If you are a data editor or manager in ArcGIS Hub, a new capability allows you to display a layer's customized style so that viewers can more easily understand the data they're exploring.

Valuable time and resources go towards collecting, maintaining, and sharing data. Now you can share your authoritative data in a way that gives you more control over which data are displayed, which features or attributes are highlighted, and whether symbology is accessible to all. Custom styling is particularly relevant to larger or complex datasets, as another tool to fine tune what your data communicates.

Previously, layers in explore view were styled with Hub's default blue. With this enhancement, feature service editors can now choose between the default style or set the style of the layer from the item settings in ArcGIS Online. Learn more…
