ArcGIS Hub is introducing a reimagined version of 'Initiatives' that will allow organizations to effectively monitor their progress towards long-term objectives. Separating sites and initiatives will help distinguish a website (with URL, theme and brand)

We are excited to announce that targeting late JulyAugust 12, 2024 ArcGIS Hub will release the next download experience update for all map services, feature services, and image services on dataset content views. We understand how important it is to share your content simply and reliably. This release marks the next step in a process to promote confidence and reliability around downloads.

We recently released the beta phase of workspaces. With this release, we are changing how you interact with surveys in ArcGIS Hub. Again, this is a beta release, and users can opt in or out of this new experience.

Summary of changes

• Banner card is temporarily transitioned to Text Card, publish your layout to make migrated cards permanent.
• Text card will display Markdown as plain text instead of silently migrating to HTML.
• Changes will occur August 27th, 2024.

We encourage Hub users to publish changes to your layout containing a banner card by August 27th, 2024.

ArcGIS Hub is releasing a new inline map layout on the site search view. Now users can search, filter, and explore geographic content on map.

Discussion board with discussion location boundary defined

ArcGIS Hub discussion boards were recently launched with the aim of facilitating idea exchange, topic discussions, and feedback collection among our users. These boards offer a range of functionalities, with one key feature being the ability to conduct focused discussions on specific locations on a map.

Site managers can now require visitors to their site provide affirmative or negative consent to any configured tracking (anonymous usage, Google Analytics, etc.). Visitors to a site can now accept only necessary tracking, anonymous usage, and/or third-party tracking providers.
