We understand how important it is to share your content simply and reliably. This release marks the next step in a process to promote confidence and reliability around downloads.

Summary of changes

  • Banner card is temporarily transitioned to Text Card, publish your layout to make migrated cards permanent.
  • Text card will display Markdown as plain text instead of silently migrating to HTML.
  • Changes will occur August 27th, 2024.

We encourage Hub users to publish changes to your layout containing a banner card by August 27th, 2024.

Site managers can now require visitors to their site provide affirmative or negative consent to any configured tracking (anonymous usage, Google Analytics, etc.). Visitors to a site can now accept only necessary tracking, anonymous usage, and/or third-party tracking providers.
