For those who come across this thread - the steps are, - Log on to the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal/AGOL as an administrator - Navigate to Organization>Settings>General>Shared theme - Click on Manage shared theme colors - Specify colors for Header/Body - click Save - Open the Survey123 WebApp - Navigate to Organization>Settings>General>Shared theme - Check the box next to Use organization's shared theme - Click Save Now you can open your Survey123 mobile app and see the magic happen! Forgot to mention that make sure the user's device is new enough that its OS is compatible with survey app. If in doubt, ask them to submit from another newer device.

Hi Mikhayla, I have observed that if the survey submissions were successful in past and only few individuals are encountering issues now, majority of it is to do with the submission contents/formats. I would recommend to check following: - Make sure the characters in text type questions are not exceeding character limits - Attachments are named properly, i.e. No special characters and File extensions are properly specified (should not be FileName.pdf.pdf, FileName.jpg.pdf, etc)

Please allow users to customize the Survey123 Mobile App home page with different color themes based on different connections. In Survey123 mobile app, we can add multiple connections to the GIS Portal and/or ArcGIS Online through Settings > Connections > Add connection. An organization can have multiple environments like Production, Development and/or Test environments for GIS Enterprise Portal along with an ArcGIS Online account. A user can establish a multiple connections while they are developing and testing the surveys in their mobile app. The only way they can know which connection they are connected is by clicking on the user Settings > Connections. It would be great if a user can confirm/differentiate that by simply looking at the home page color. For example: - If signed in to TEST GIS Portal - the home page would be RED color theme - If signed in to PROD GIS Portal - the home page would be BLUE color theme - If not signed in to any Portal - the home page would be GREEN (default) color theme

We also encountered this same error - reported by only one user at this point. The error appeared when user was trying to submit a survey with attachment/s in it. Without attachments, the same user was able to submit a survey successfully!

Hi @RyanUthoff We recently moved to 10.9.1 and experiencing same issue. Glad I came to this discussion and found that its a bug. Update on BUG - 000154091 which seems to be a duplicate of BUG - 000150953: The issue is resolved in Portal 11.0 (which is unfortunate that Esri didn't provide solution as patch for 10.9.1). For 10.9.1, the workarounds are as listed below: The issue only occurs when the administrator attempts to share private items owned by another with a group they both belong to. If the sharing level of the item is updated to Organization or Everyone, then the administrator can share the item with the group. However, this workaround may not be acceptable or appropriate in cases where the item cannot be shared beyond the group. Request the item owner to share the item with the group. The administrator can change the ownership of the item to themselves, then share the item with the group. After sharing, change the ownership back to the original item owner. Hi @Becca_Settele, Thanks for your response. I am also looking for filtering 'List' element in dashboard that filters value in the list based on a signed in user. Actually to apply the function, I didnt find an Advanced Formatting option in List element. After little bit of research, I realized that the 'Advanced Formatting' is available in Dashboard starting from ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 version. @Becca_Settele we are trying to implement similar solution for Dashboard - filtering survey that was submitted by signed in user. Would you please share how were you able to apply that expression in Dashboard? I dont see any way of supplying that kind of expression (when I say that my apologies if I am not aware of the possibility - just starting with creating dashboard solutions).

Hey Scott, Thanks for posting this solution. I was also getting similar error after successfully running python script everyday for few months! Your post saved my time and I quickly realised that somehow the ArcGIS Pro was not signed in to the enterprise account. Signing in again solved the problem!

Hi Amanda, I not sure whether you got your issue solved or not. But if not yet, then I think the error suggests that you should add a layer on a map. for example you can use map.addLayer (layer, "TOP") , and then try creating service definition file.
