I need to symbolize ArcGIS Pro 3.x CAD to GDB converted Annotation from a DGN/CAD file by CAD Levels like was supported in ArcMap 10.8.2 and prior. We have now “upgraded” to ArcGIS Pro 3.3 and are not finding a way to create a reasonable representation of the original CAD Text/Annotation. ArcMap handled the annotation pretty well although the process was cumbersome. However, unless I am missing something, ArcGIS Pro 3.x CAD to GDB converted annotation only has one class when added to Pro Project Maps and doesn’t allow honoring CAD Annotation levels, rotation, size, etc. in the symbology.. The attached image shows in the first TOC Layer how ArcGIS Pro 3.3 is symbolizing annotation as a single class. The second Layer is a typical imported symbology from an ArcMap 10.8.2 mxd. I would appreciate any assistance in getting the ArcGIS Pro 3.x annotation symbolized by CAD Level like ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.2 and ArcGIS Pro 2.9.10 handled the annotation. Thanks

CAD to GDB Converted Annotation is unusable in Pro 3.x unless I am missing something. How are GIS users symbolizing and adding CAD converted to GDB in ArcGIS Pro? We successfully used DGNs converted to GDB in ArcMap 10.8.2 with a good representation of the original CAD including the Annotations which could be symbolized by layer and color. Since our “upgrade” to ArcGIS Pro 3.3 we cannot seem to get a representation of the CAD Annotation in Pro.

I am sure you have seen this article, but it seems to describe the federation steps well. Federate an ArcGIS Server site with your portal—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise I am also curious if you can sign in using a fully qualified domain name like https://webadaptorhost.domain.com/webadaptorname/home and not use the :6443?

We had a problem with random seemingly services stopping a while back and we were also running 10.9.1 Enterprise. After a lot of head scratching, we found that we needed to update our SQL Enterprise Geodatabase. After the database update, we haven't had any problems with services stopping or not loading. This might not be relative to your issue, but possibly worth checking. Good luck!
