I fully agree- yet another example of ESRI's "update" breaking a long-standing workflow. I have a simple tool that copies a template geodatabase with a few feature datasets and empty feature classes that uses the Define Projection process to update the datasets/fc's to whatever projection is required for my current project- usually just switching between state plane feet and state plane meters. I've been running this for years with absolutely no projection related issues and now it's totally broken. Come on ESRI, randomly removing core GIS functionality is inexcusable.

Agree! Come on ESRI, losing money and wasting time right now. Its not just AGOL either, every Pro update breaks a whole bunch of things in my workflow, even when I wait a few patches. Its completely ridiculous.

Thanks, ESRI support added this to my case as well, but it's definitely seems like a different issue.

No, just finishing the sketch, not saving. After a little more testing- this seems to just be happening when using the Reshape tool. When creating a new feature, the tool is retained. When using other Modify Feature functions that use the sketch tools such as Split, Continue Feature, the active tool is retained after finish. Seems to only be happening during Reshape. I guess I'll submit a bug.

(edited after more testing) Pulling my hair out....after updating to 3.4 the edit sketch tool is no longer retained after finishing a sketch when using the Modify Features: Reshape tool. In the prior versions if editing with a sketch tool other than the default "Line" tool, the selected tool was retained after finishing a reshape sketch. Now, after completing a sketch the tool changes to the default "Line" tool. This is terrible if you are trying to do multiple reshape edits with the same tool (very common). I figured there must be some setting where this can be changed, but I can't find it. Any ideas or alternatives to keep the active edit sketch tool in 3.4 or is this another example of long standing functionality broken with an update?

In case it helps anyone: I just encountered this error with a hosted feature layer that is part of a field group with contingent values originally set up in Pro. After much experimenting I finally found the issue was a duplicate domain description- the codes were unique, but two codes had the same description text. This somehow caused the error in Field Maps Designer. I could add the form element for the field, and save the form, but if I tried to edit the element properties at all, it would throw the error and the form would not save. After making the domain descriptions unique, the error was gone.

Same problem here- saving and reopening a map loses raster function layers (red exclamation pt). There's no apparent way to reset without removing and recreating the layer with raster function tools.

Please ESRI, we used this ALL THE TIME for data collection in forested environments with ArcPAD. It's a major loss in Collector/Field Maps. Based on the ESRI help files, I thought I had a solution with the new EOS Bridge, but come to find out it only works when ALSO using an EOS GPS receiver. This should be basic functionality for any equipment manufacturer as it was in ArcPAD.

I haven't tested again, but I reproduced it several times previously. Yes, I believe as long as I powered down the R2 or disconnected it in Bluetooth settings, switching to the integrated receiver works as expected. If I leave it connected, things go awry.

When sharing a new webmap from Arcgis Pro that contains a certain hosted feature layer, I am now asked every time to update sharing for that layer. The hosted layer is always shared to the same group as the map. This started sometime in the last few months- prior to that the same layer was included in maps created in Pro and shared the same way without an issue. This doesn't seem to affect the map, but something has happened that doesn't seem correct. Have checked the layer in AGOL many times, it's sharing is set to the same group that the maps are being shared to.

All maps by default have Advanced Offline Options defaulted to Download and get updates to Features AND Attachments. Since we never want or need to download attachments, it is a cumbersome extra step to go into each map settings to change so the offline device isn't loaded down with extra data (attachments). It would be nice to have the ability to change this default on either the user or organizational level for new maps.

I've found that when switching GPS providers from an external source to Integrated on iOS, the current location shown on the map freezes on the last external GPS location unless the external device is turned off or Bluetooth is disconnected before switching providers. We've been having various Field Maps/Trimble issues and I discovered this trying to replicate other issues. I can start with the integrated receiver, connect to an external receiver (Trimble R2) via Bluetooth and switch over to that in FM without a problem. If I try to switch back to Integrated without first disconnecting the external receiver, the map either freezes up entirely, or just the blue-dot location indicator stays stuck on the previous external position. Is this a known bug? Seems we should be able to seamlessly switch GPS providers without glitching.

I couldn't agree more- AND on top of it, the Mobile Manager app frequently loses its credentials for offline users. When in offline environments (every day, here in Vermont) our field crews have to drive to find cell service through a hotspot to make the MM sign-in connection before they can start working. The app is supposed to retain the credentials for 30 days, but it absolutely DOESN'T! Trimble worked with me for a few days then stopped responding. They suggested they had changed sign-in requirements on their end, but ESRI needed to adopt the new API in Field Maps. Lets get rid of the Mobile Manager requirement! I'm getting ready to move everyone back to Collector. TMM is definitely not an enhancement- I can't tell you the number of frustrated phone calls I get from our people in the field.

Colin- one additional note: Yesterday while troubleshooting I ran 2 iPhones side by side one with Field Maps 21.2.0 and the other with 21.1.1. With the same maps open on both at the same time, the 21.2 device did not have the + sign, while the 21.1 device did. I checked this with several maps. This was before I implemented the workaround of saving the map in AGOL. I could be wrong, but to me this suggests an issue with the Field Maps release. Screen shots of both attached.
