@KoryKramer I've been using ArcGIS Pro since 2016 and I use floating maps all the time. That's not what we're talking about here. Please review my comments above about the current functionality could be improved to be equivalent of the ArcMap Overview Map.

Hi @KoryKramer. The linked cursor is a nice feature, but it is not an extent rectangle and does not show the extent of the zoom level of the main map. Also, the "Overview Map" should not recenter every time you pan the map that it's linked to. It should have a fixed extent or it should allow the option of either centering or not centering. If ESRI is determined not to provide the same basic ease-of-use and functionality, a one-button solution like ArcMap has, then perhaps it could expand the features of the linked map to do the same thing. So specifically, to make the linked map work like an ArcMap Overview Map it should: Provide an extent rectangle in the linked map showing the zoom level of the main map. Enable the linked map to either not pan or to pan, that is, to allow a fixed extent. Your thoughts?

We've got a user with a license checked out. She doesn't even know how it happened. She got a new computer that was reimaged with the license still checked out. Now it won't let her check out Pro from ArcGIS online. You mean there's no way for an admin to return a license?

@EdiePunt @KoryKramer Any chance of implementing this ArcMap Equivalence issue? It's got lots of kudos.

This is an important ArcMap Equivalence issue. This is not just some new feature that users want. Why was this not implemented years ago? This issue should have been placed In Product Plan in 2019 when it was first brought to ESRI's attention.

@KoryKramer Yes, I get same result on the second try within a session as I did the first time. I refined my testing and tested in a simple ArcGIS Pro project. My initial test result of ~90 seconds was with a very heavy project with lots of layers. When I tested in a simple project, the time to generate the print job was about 30 seconds. That's much better than 90 seconds, but still 15 times longer than ArcMap's 2 seconds.

Thanks @KoryKramer. It's good to have this feature. I just tested this item. It took about 1 1/2 minutes to generate a print job where I had selected 6 records out of a table of about 58,000 records. 1 1/2 minutes to print 6 records in text format seems kind of sluggish. Is there room for improvement there?

I think this is at the discretion of the author of this question. After you post a question and comments are provided, the author is is automatically asked if any of the comments provide the answer. Hi @Robert_LeClair. I've already been through all of that with ESRI Tech Support. We did a reinstall and reset the user settings. You'd think that would fix it since it's profile specific ... but no. You can review the transcript of what we've been through, here. https://my.esri.com/#/support/cases/tech-cases?caseNumber=03497059 That's where we're at. 🤔

Have you seen this problem? If so, please KUDO this question to help get ESRI's attention. INTRO: A problem has started for me with ArcGIS Pro in Remote Desktop where the panes appear in the wrong location when you select a tab to open them. This happens for me on only one PC. Remote desktop to other PC's work normally. I have already worked with ESRI Tech Support and they said that because it's only one user login on one PC that there's nothing they will do. DESCRIPTION ===================================================== Normally, when you select a tab to open a minimized pane, the pane will pop out with the upper right corner aligned with the upper right corner of the ArcGIS Pro canvas. NORMAL: Here, when I select the Catalog tab, the Catalog pane pops out in the correct location. PROBLEM: Using Remote Desktop to access the PC with ArcGIS Pro, when I click on the Catalog tab, the Catalog Pane pops out down and to the right of the normal location. Sometimes, it can be far enough away that it is outside of the screen and can't be seen. I'm currently using ArcGIS Pro version 3.2.2.

ESRI Tech Support just reported to me that they have reproduced the error, in house, and will probably log a bug for this. Thanks @ChrisUnderwood for your help in reproducing this!

Yes, Chris! That's exactly what I'm seeing. It's only the separated tool/map windows which create the black rectangles, not the main ArcGIS Pro program window.
