Thank you for this Russ Great to know! We were cautious of creating a set for others as we will have updates a few times a year and learning as we go. I appreciate the explanation.

This has now been posted to the AGOL Product Ideas as per recommendation. Make the default Hyperlink the standard blue color - Esri Community Subsequent recommendation would include having the ability to move ideas to their appropriate forum categories without having to create a new idea.

As per @TonghuiMing 's request, I have created another idea post. This is copied from Make the default Hyperlink the standard blue color - Esri Community And while the effect only happens once you are in the Experience Builder, hence my initial "idea" being posted there, I'm told I should post it here as its controlled in the Web Map? Scope Popups are designed in webmaps. This issue is for those text elements that are set with default styles/colours. Issue The text in these popups are brought through to experience builder. However, in the case of a hyperlink the text is shown in grey not blue if there is no specific style set for that link. This does not comply with wcag. There is a 'solved' Query here Solved: Links in Experience Builder popups fail WCAG stand... - Esri Community but I move to consider this as a work around not a solution. The default blue hyperlink of a standard <a> hyperlink should be at least, by default, set at the application level (experience builder) to show hyperlinks as the blue underline, like this very post does. If one wishes to make the hyperlink pink (as an example) sure, there is bounds to do so at the webmap, however for those out-of-the-box hyperlinks that in any other situation would be blue, Experience Builder should follow this universal standard. Request I propose to reopen the case for Experience Builder to show hyperlinks as a standard blue underline. Please get in contact if I can provide any more feedback Regards Melissa Brooks Senior Geospatial Systems Specialist Tasman District Council New Zealand

I have a question that on a previous similar topic @RussRoberts was able to kindly provide help with. --- When creating and sharing a public facing Web Style's (2D) are there any dependencies created by the maps/weblayers etc that ultimately use them? Scenario: - A Webstyle is created and shared publicly - An external party finds and uses some symbols in this Webstyle for their own layer/item and webmap product - The Original Webstyle item is removed and then perhaps superseded Would the external party's product be affected? I'm wanting to understand if Web Styles have an underlying connection with the products that use them or if they are much like stylx files in ArcGIS pro where the style is 'given' to the map layer but has no relationship afterwards. I hope this question makes sense! Thank you

Nice one, thanks Justin, Yes, it was a bit weird, even if we bring it back to: nav text with nav background or body text with body background etc.. something to pair up the combination But, as a side note, it might be worth mentioning the lighter gray headings in that dropdown space as well, I couldn't find where those were being defined.. they might not have a configurable attribute in the Theme tab yet. Appreciate the swift response!

Issue: When searching for a location in the map it returns search results from all around the world. This does not respect the Open Data content extent or the AGOL Organisation Region Settings Shows international results rather than the local NZ results Request: I would like for search to order the results showing the ones in the map extent first. I would assume this would be more a more flexible solution for the AGOL admins than needing a custom geofence for the search configured 'somewhere' Thanks Melissa Brooks Senior Geospatial Systems Specialist Tasman District Council New Zealand

Scope The category links shown below the "Read More/Read Less" position on the AGOL Hub Item Information (Full Details) page Issue These categories draw from the Category tree as set up in the AGOL organisation settings. This is a good thing, a modular solution that makes sense. However, if the Categories have been set up in a Tree/Group fashion, the parent "Category" is repeated when it is listed on the ArcGIS Hub item page "Full Details" This image hopefully illustrates that in the Organisation Category "Tree" it is organised as such Tasman GeoHUB Planning - TRMP Environment - Natural Hazards Slope Instability ... etc But on the page below the "parent" category (Tasman GeoHUB) is listed once for each sub category Request I would like for this summary of categories to recognise when there are multiple and to only show one. This would tidy up the user experience and avoid confusion. Please get in touch if I can provide any more information Thanks Melissa Brooks Senior Geospatial Systems Specialist Tasman District Council New Zealand

To add to this, It would be also good to be able to set the default sort method. Relevance is the default but I would A-Z in all cases as it shows off the item naming convention that reinforces the categorization put in place to organize the content.

We are setting up a new Hub and Open Data site to go live next week. During UAT one of our users noticed that the search results were not readable due to dark text on a dark background. It looks to be a combination of "Global Nav Background Color" and "Body Text Color" Ideally this drop down results panel should have the same background as the "Body Background Color" instead of "Global Nav Background Colour" See screenshot To be clear, it is not the Global Nav bar that is the issue, its the results panel underneath. I can confirm the AGOL Assistant Workflow works great, we are up and running. To summarise for the post string. We were publishing the Web Style from ArcGIS Pro 2.9.1, this was the cause of the style not showing up under the "Add Style" tool in Map Viewer. I've marked the "solution" above. @RussRoberts thank you for your help with this! Much appreciated.

Hi there, I've been trying to follow the instructions on this post: A New Way To Add Web Styles in Map Viewer (esri.com) (@RussRoberts) First of all, thanks for this. A great improvement to the web style workflow. However, I've had some trouble, and I hope you are able to help. I cannot see my published web style in the list when I get to the "Added Styles" step in the map viewer. I've cleaned all symbol names and keys in my stylx file i.e. there are no odd characters. I just can't see it when I go to add the style like you've described above. Note: I can see them when I add the item to the Organisation's 2D symbol group configured in the Orgs Map settings, so I know they work okay >> This post is not about how to add them to the Organisation 2D symbol group, but how to add them to a web map like shown in the blog post above. Do you have any tips on how to get it to show up as you've shown above? I'd like to use this alternative "Draft" workflow more (once I get it working) - The symbols are point symbols using PNG but I've also tried SVG with the same result. Any help much appreciated Thanks!
