This would be really valuable, situation reports are done a couple of times a day in our civil defence office, dashboards are a go-to product for civil defence, but for dashboards, in general, a print widget with a title and time stamp etc, would be great given they often show Current state of a changing situation. Time enabled data is often a bit too complicated for some agencies, but a print widget of some sort would be a great all round addition.

Thanks for the timely replies! Appreciate your time I will try out the ArcGIS pro technique soon will have to iron out the workflow, but at the moment we are really only creating hosted feature layers while in AGOL (we planned for our Civil Defence to be AGOL as much as humanly possible) .. It turns out what I worked on yesterday was similar to Steve's approach. I copied down a purple symbol image, then using photoshop I filled the center in purple. Then from the other various coloured symbols I photoshopped the white part out .. I uploaded them to AGOL as public pngs so I could use them in the web map. I've only needed four (so far), so fairly manageable. But perhaps ironing out a workflow where the custom symbol could be created in Pro and then saved up to AGOL.. the problem with having to publish layers from pro and then publishing up is that you cant recycle them quickly on various webmaps with fast moving requirements and various scenarios Civil Defence have.. I know it's tricky but the ESRI Solution was such a great place to start and without it we would not have gotten off the ground so quickly! thank you! I wanted any new layers to be part of the product family too and am happy with what I've been able to wrangle but perhaps, at least for now, I could look at using Pro as a symbol designer but still put them up on AGOL so I can have the best of both worlds.? Check out the photoshop file (and my symbols), I'll post the actual map as soon as our Public Information Team releases it for the public. Thanks Mike and Steve,. really appreciate the information and help! keeps me moving today! Cheers Melissa

Hi there, were can we get the icons and symbols used in the Solution (and more) I want to make a new layer but keep it the same symbol family with the "open, closed, impacted, scheduled for closure" categories. I would like to find a range of the symbols available on ArcGIS online but in all four colour-ways. I could only find some of them in one colour-way eg, and would like to spin up a hosted feature layer today. any downloads or pointers on where to find them Thanks Melissa Brooks Senior GIS Analyst New Plymouth District Council New Zealand (currently working with Taranaki Civil Defence Emergency Management)

Hi there, We've had feedback through user testing, For the Open Data page in Hub, is it possible to look at enabling zoom tools through the mouse scroll wheel? The + and - button are okay but not intuitive to use. Or is there a better place to suggest these sorts of improvements than this forum? thanks! Melissa New Plymouth District Council New Zealand

Check this out, towards the end I recall her talking about how to access the code of live hub sites, hopefully it shows you what you need, other than contacting them directly? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZG180zQ2Es&t=908s

This looks to have been an intentional addition. it would still be great to have this configurable, I've seen the addition of tools that control certain item types, if the hub pages themselves could be added to the configuration settings, that would be great.

Hi there, We are preparing our Hub/Open Data site and am trying to tighten up the UX using either tags or categories (initially tags but open to categories if necessary) BUT, both tags and categories only show 10 (we have a few more), and the order differs (tag appears to use item count?) example: I would like, when the user clicks "more" for ALL tags or categories show not just the "top ten" or at least have it configurable. A bonus would to be able to configure the default order ie alphabetically. Any other experiences, advice or resources welcomed esp Graham Hudgins Patrick Hammons Thanks in advance Melissa Brooks New Plymouth District Council New Zealand

Thanks for this list Hemant Angarkar we will work through this, a logical order. This issue is inconsistent, one item will work (after a long while) then next time it wont work (continues to try but never finishes) - or vice versa Polylines tend to be more succeptable than points, but point layers still have issues. Ranges from very small (4-30) up to med/large (20-40,000 features.) No more than 20 layers per service as per recommendation. Began this week, but we think we may have been spot checking last week, it may just be that we needed to focus on some of the more complex layers. I'll go through this checklist today so I can eliminate any problem with the item and/or open data sharing and provide an update. Thanks again for your feedback Appreciated! Melissa

.. following, we had similar issues, our images stored on our server would not show up, one will even not show up or even be updated unless the code contains text, very weird. ie I have to use <p class="text-center" style="padding-top:25px;"><a target="_blank" href="https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/95525-new-plymouth-010m-urban-aerial-photos-2017/"><img height="120" src="https://atlas.npdc.govt.nz/images/aerialicon.png"></a><span style="color: rgb(230, 227, 227); background-color: initial;">a</span></p> and not the code below as I'd like, as the code wont stick unless there is some text (hence the "a" with the same colour as our sites background!) <p class="text-center" style="padding-top:25px;"><a target="_blank" href="https://data.linz.govt.nz/layer/95525-new-plymouth-010m-urban-aerial-photos-2017/"><img height="120" src="https://atlas.npdc.govt.nz/images/aerialicon.png"></a></p>

Hi there, We are preparing a hub site and Open data, however, our Hub pages have started appearing in our open data search.. not ideal. Our hub site is not live, but I'm concerned it might confuse users if they remain there once we do go live is there a way to prevent Content Type = Hub Page from showing in Open Data? Tagged Graham Hudgins and Patrick Hammons incase this is related to the recent update. Cheers Melissa New Plymouth District Council

The &autoplay parameter when using the "kiosk" mode should have the option to have the slow (or fast) mode by default (or even a speed value parameter). Each refresh of the page makes it go back to "Medium" this can be frustrating. Can this parameter have more options please?
