I have an Experience Builder App that has the following widgets: Map Widget - pointing at a Web Map with a definition query for a subset of facilities Floor Filter Widget - wired up to the map widget Branch Version Management Widget - wired to a feature service configured with version management enabled. What I am encountering is that while in the Experience Builder "Live View", the floor filter widget displays as expected: When I preview the draft app in a browser, or view the published app, the floor filter widget is grayed out: Dev Tools tells me I need to have a Facilities and Levels layer for the floor filter to work. I Definitely have those. Is this an issue with Branch Versioned data not being compatible with the Floor Filter widget? If I remove the Branch Version widget, it works fine.

Is it possible to create an Indoor Viewer Configurable App with data from a branch version? We have a facility with data that currently lives in a branch version. We do not want to move it to default yet but we would like to stand up a viewer for them to use. Is this possible?

Thanks @MarceloMarques this does answer my question. Does the same stand true for Traditional Versioning? That can also only be done on an Enterprise GDB?

Recently we have been doing more work with Hosted Feature Layers. Is it possible to branch version a hosted feature layer? I've only been able to do it with feature layers published from an Enterprise Geodatabase.

Hi @GauravJobanputra I run Update Occupants once a week. Spaces aren’t assigned anywhere else other than Space Planner so we won’t know where any of these people are located until they are assigned using Space Planner. The hope was that once their job title was updated when running Update Occupant Features, they would then show up “automatically” as unassigned employees since they are no longer meeting the filter criteria. Our workflow is not that of a typical organization as there is no formal space assignment policy or workflow. Employees sit wherever there is space, and move at their, or their supervisors, discretion. It’s definitely not the best workflow but it’s what we have to deal with.

Thank you for the feedback, @MichaelJenkins and @GauravJobanputra It sounds to me like filtering through the web map is not something that is supported in Space Planner. @GauravJobanputra - I would be hesitant to assign all these employees to a home office. It is very possible, and does happen often, that some of these people may take another job within the organization where they could be assigned an office. So, if they were assigned to a Home Office, they would need to be unassigned then reassigned. my intent was to filter them by job title so if they changed title, they would then appear as unassigned employees. It sounds like I may need to create a filtered feature layer of people to be used in Space Planner only.

I have a tricky one here so I will do my best to illustrate what I am experiencing: My occupants (people) feature class includes several people which will never be assigned a location. In an effort to thin out the overall number of people in space planner, I filtered out these people by job title in the web map that Space Planner Uses. In Space Planner, complete # of people: 6069 records. My People Feature Class: 6070 records. My filtered People Feature Class: 4127 records. Employees with an Assignment: 1153 records. I have no employees assigned to hot desks or hotels. Now the questions: In the Screenshot... The number of "not assigned" people (1) does not make sense. 6069-1153 = 4916 (not 4926). Also, If I am filtering the people in my web map to not include certain employees, shouldn't it be reflected withe like the filtered value of 4127-1153= 2974? Shouldn't this number (2985) be reflected as the same (incorrect) number in the left hand column (4926)? My assumption is that they are both reflecting the number of unassigned people. Also, this number seems to be closer to the filtered record count (4127) - Assigned Employees (1153) = 2974. This is 11 records off of what is being displayed (2985). This number (6069) appears to be listing ALL records (minus 1 for some reason) whether they are assigned or not. Also, it's not reflecting the filtered value (4127). Shouldn't this column be listing only what people are assigned? And, why is it not reflecting the filtered value? I'm no mathematician but these numbers don't seem to be jiving. Something also seems buggy with how the numbers are represented regarding whether they are filtered or not. Anyone care to try and decrypt this mystery??? @GauravJobanputra

Easy Fix: Go into the configuration of your Space Planner app & navigate to the last step in the config. Here is where the field for unit name is defined across the app. If you were to change it here, you'll achieve what you are looking for. Note: When doing this, you'll change the way the unit names are displayed across the app.

Yes, just make sure they are drawn at the right elevation and are connected to other pathways. You'll also need to rebuild your network.

I face the same issues with performance when displaying our details. We have very detailed... details..😄 for some very large facilites. What I have found to be the most helpful (but still not great) is to do the following: merge details by use type (if you have different use types) then merge each use type by level Run the Dice GP tool on each use type of each level. This will create "strips" of your details. I use 10,000 verticies per "strip". Store your details as a hosted feature layer or a File Geodatabase. Do not store and serve from an Enterprise GDB. It just can't handle it. Hopefully some day there will be an improvement for this. Vector Tile layers sounds like it might be the answer but they are not (yet) floor aware. That could be a game changer.
