novakc@leoncountyfl.gov This isn't something that is currently configurable in the application. The tag cloud can be entirely turned off in the configuration, but there isn't a way for end-users of the app to toggle the cloud's appearance. Like most things, I'm sure there is a way a skilled developer could reconstruct that portion of the app, but that's beyond what is documented or supported for this app.

Josh White did you figure this out? Could be that you have old version of other local government add-ins still installed, or could be that you didn't get the latest version of the add-in for some reason. The latest is available with the download from this page: Water Utility Network Editing and Analysis | ArcGIS for Water

One note on this - it seems to be linked to where the favicon is stored. I am not running into this issue when the favicon is stored on the same server as the app, AND is located at the root of that web server (eg C://inetput/wwwroot)

agebhart_johnsoncounty The app is expecting the geoprocessing service, so I would say that, unless you wanted to do some pretty serious customization of the application code (not supported), that yes, you will need ReportLab, Pillow, and the reporting service. -Allison

emlee This message usually occurs because the values you are trying to write to the service are invalid in some way that the normal form validation can't catch earlier - usually because the problem field hasn't been included in the form. The most common reason for this is a field that is required, doesn't have a default value, and is not included in the Reporter form. If you think that you have all required fields without default values exposed in the form, you can double-check this by enabling editing on all fields in the popup configuration. Required fields will be easily visible in the form, along with their default values (if any). Try submitting a report with all fields on. If that works, one-by-one turn off each field you don't want exposed in Reporter - saving the map, refreshing Reporter, and submitting a report each time. When you get the error message again you'll know which field is causing the issue. To resolve it, you'll need to either include that field on the Reporter form, make it accept null values, or provide it with a default value in the editing template prior to publishing. If submitting a report with all fields turned on fails as well, let me know.

I can reproduce what you are seeing in Chrome as well, but not FireFox or IE. I think you found a bug! I'll log this as an issue to address in a future release in the app's github repo. If you'd like, you can call Support to log an official bug report that you track through your Customer Care Portal. If you do call support, please share this thread with the analyst. It will help them to see what troubleshooting has already been performed and they reach me directly if needed EDIT: No point reporting this one to Esri Support: it appears that it is actually a bug with Chrome. I'll play around with this and see if there is a way around this for this app 51270 - No favicon when viewing local pages - chromium - Monorail -Allison

That's ok! I've confirmed that this works for me so we just need to figure out the missing piece in your app. That can be easier if I can see the issue myself, but instead I'll give you a list of things to try Here are a list of things I check (in order) when I'm trying to configure an app and the configuration doesn't seem to be sticking. Many of these checks are straight-forward and simple, but I've spent many frustrating hours fighting apps over these exact things. 1) Remove all commented-out portions of the values array such as //"#007ac2",. I have seen comments inside the arrays cause all sorts of trouble and the symptoms can vary from browser to browser. 2) Confirm that the URL to the image is correct by pasting it into a browser. The URL should include the file extension .jpg, .png, ico, etc and the image should open in the browser. 3) Confirm that the favicon parameter syntax is correct - URL surrounded by quotes with a comma at the very end of the line. No comments! 4) Confirm that the application is actually using the config file you are editing. You can do this by adding config.js to the URL in your browser. For example, the URL would look like http://myserver.mydomain.com/appfolder/config.js. Confirm that the URL to your image is correct in the favicon property that shows on this page. Let me know if any/none of these fix it! -Allison

Societies can be regarded as spatially enabled where location and spatial information are regarded as common goods made available to citizens and businesses to encourage creativity and product development’ (Williamson et al., 2006) cit. by (Rajabifard, et al., 2010). More recently, a reference to UNRCC-PCGIAP Kuala Lumpur Declaration on Spatially Enabled Government and Society (FIG, 2012), cited by (Teo, 2013), points towards a similar direction: Spatially enabled Government and Society, recognizing that all activities and events have a geographical and temporal context, make decisions and organize their affairs through the effective and efficient use of spatial data, information and services; and Spatial enablement, that is the ability to add location to almost all existing information, unlocks the wealth of existing knowledge about social, economic and environmental matters, and can play a vital role in understanding and addressing the many challenges that we face in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Additionally, and according to (Wallace, et al., 2010), spatially enabled societies demand accurate and timely information about land: land information provides the link between people and activities, within an ecosystem illustrated in Figure 1.1. Figure 1.1 - Locate, connect and deliver spatial information (Rajabifard, 2009) But, to achieve the benefits of spatial enablement, people who design and build systems need to set up the right foundations. Future directions associated with realizing spatially enabled societies will need to include a focus on creating awareness of the importance of maintaining existing spatial and land infrastructures. The modern challenge is to redesign the existing tools used to perform fundamental business processes in order to achieve much more relevant results across society (Williamson, et al., 2011). Moreover, spatially enabling Governments and societies for sustainable land administration and management will require structural changes in the institutional, legislative and professional domains as well as embracing Open Standards, interoperability (systems, institutional and legislative), culture of collaboration and sharing, avoiding duplication such as mapping once, use many times, encourage the incorporation of volunteered information and developing platforms by locating, connecting and delivering information from difference scales, purposes and origins (Teo, 2012a), as illustrated in Figure 1.2. Figure 1.2 - From Data to Informed Decisions and Sustainable Actions (Teo, 2013) In fact, according to (Steudler & Rajabifard, 2012) spatial is everywhere and our ability to leverage and harness the ubiquity of spatial information will correlate to benefits in terms of wealth creation, social stability and environmental management. Spatial information intrinsically reflects the relationship between people and land by connecting activities to location. Additionally, see also Wallace vision of place as an important factor to improve information manageability illustrated in Figure 1.3. Location is increasingly regarded as the fourth driver in decision-making, in addition to social, economic and environmental drivers. Consequently, land-related information has a key role in spatial enablement where good land governance can facilitate the delivery of a spatially enabled government to respond to the global agenda and achieve sustainable development. Societies and their governments need to become spatially enabled in order to have the right tools and information at hand to take the right decisions (Steudler & Rajabifard, 2012). Chaya Balsiger You should be able to configure a custom favicon for the app by specifying the path to another image in the applicationFavicon parameter. Is your company's logo file a .ico file? It doesn't need to be - a png or jpg will work as well, but it might have caused some issues if you simply renamed MyCompanyLogo.png to favicon.ico. Try either using either the URL to an online version of the logo, or place the logo file in the themes/images directory and update the configuration file to point to that image, rather than renaming files and trying to convert file types.

bokeefe If the layers in the map are on internal-only servers, you could consider making the maps and apps shared with 'Everyone'. This would mean that anyone who found the application would be able to see that the maps/apps exist, but the data in those maps/apps will only draw if they are on your network.
