Below is an update as I'm pretty sure I found how to do this. 1) Click the widget icon. 2) The icons windows opens. Look in the bottom left and you will see the icon image. In the lower right is a color picker. Click the color picker. 3) I chose my current primary color. The image in the lower left updates to reflect that color. 4) Close the window. The widget icon color is now updated to match the background color of my Widget Controller. Note that this color did not apply to the Map Layers, so that will need to be done separately. Note: I also posted these steps here > https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-questions/how-can-i-change-a-custom-icon-within-the-widget/m-p/1335140#M8583.

Update (all of a couple minutes later)! You can change the icon shape color like this... 1) Click the widget icon. 2) The icons windows opens. Look in the bottom left and you will see the icon image. In the lower right is a color picker. Click the color picker. 3) I chose my current primary color. The image in the lower left updates to reflect that color. 4) Close the window. @JeffreyThompson2 Do you know where the icons are stored in Developer? I'm looking and for the life of me don't see any of them. I posted a question about how to update the widget icon color in the EB interface or through the code and thus far neither seem to be an option. At this point I'd be happy with making a copy of an existing icon, the filling in the lines with the color(s) I want in Paint.net. See https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-questions/can-the-widget-icon-shapes-color-be-changed/m-p/1516476#M14163) . I'm on EB Developer 1.15.

I'd like what is in white to be the same green as the background fill (widget controller shown here). This was doable in WAB via CSS. I was able to update the color via the Firefox developer tools. I can see where the change likely needs to occur in config.json but the few things I've tried haven't worked.

@QunSun Thank you. Is there anything that can be added or modified to the config to make the borders/halo more prominent? I see there is 'shadowColor' but that appears to be only for a 3D SceneView.

@Ke_Xu From the New search source? My searches are by layer source and I'm not seeing that coming up as an option for those. If I add a locator I see that come up. I can go the locator route if needed but I prefer not to in this app because in the AGO map I have a popup configured for my address points that uses Intersects to retrieve values from a polygon feature class. That can't be done with a locator, right? I'm essentially trying to recreate some of the former WAB District Lookup widget functionality.

@Ke_Xu Thanks for the tip. I'm not seeing a target when I add the Records created trigger. Do I need to set up another trigger or action elsewhere? My search widget resides in a sidebar, along with a Feature Info widget that displays the feature's popup(s) that are either chosen in the Search or by clicking in the map.

I am trying to change the search result symbology but don't see where it can be done in the interface, let alone in config.json. At the least I would like to change the point symbology so it jumps out at the user. Is there a way in the interface and I'm looking past it? I'd also take changing the flash properties. Robert Scheitlin provided steps on how to update the search symbology in WAB but I haven't been successful getting those same changes to work in EB. Additionally, I'd like to make changes to the selection highlight to give it a thicker border/halo. Can I do something in config.json for that?

Making this available as a Map Centric widget with the ability to show the current map scale (i.e. 1:1000) like in WAB would be great. The default distance scalebar isn't very relevant for us or for our users.

@topotopo1Thank you for the reply. It would be great if that issue could be resolved as I can't be the only person dealing with it, and like I said before, I (and assume others) would prefer to not have to use basemap thumbnail for the web map thumbnail to make the basemap gallery appearance better. Adding basemaps via URL again would be a great option to carry over from WAB. I hope that's added in one of the upcoming versions.

@LaurynasGedminas2- are you asking what (custom) widgets EB users would like to see? If so, our users have found the following WAB custom widgets (with author) very helpful. Enhanced Search and Identify are probably the most commonly used. Enhanced Search (Robert Scheitlin) Identify (Robert Scheitlin) Popup Panel (Robert Scheitlin) Enhanced Locate (Robert Scheitlin) eDraw (can't remember) Measure (can't remember) I think some versions of these, produced by others, have been made available to the masses but I don't know how they compare to what was available in WAB. Here is one possible replacement for eSearch and Identify > https://community.esri.com/t5/experience-builder-custom-widgets/enhanced-search-for-experience-builder/m-p/1367558.
