We can't get it to find the Portal server to register against... So do we have to have Portal installed on the same server as the web adaptor?

We are in the initial steps of installing Portal. We have a server we are installing Portal on and at no point in any documentation does it state that IIS is even required? I've been working with ArcGIS for Server for years now so this is a huge leap forward and the documentation is anything but straight forward. From what it looks like, we need IIS on the server with the Web Adaptor. Other than that, Portal can exist on a server without IIS. Does anyone have anything that might help me on this?

Currently the GeoForm mimics a Form that people have to fill out with a geospatial component added in. With the Javascript capabilities of a PDF, or even an e-book, surely the functionality of the GeoForm could be ported to a PDF, or e-book-ish component, that could then be downloaded and interacted with and when completed (filled out) submitted for approval.

So I'm trying to prop up a GeoForm. I need it to be on our Internal server and available to Employees not citizens. SO! I have the following: A feature layer of points. A webmap containing those points. An Application referencing the GeoForm hosted on our server (internal address so I can't share). What I get is this... I'm about to pull my hair out. In default.js I have entered the APPID, WEBMAP, FORM_LAYER and FIELDS as well as our internal Proxy and SHARINGHOST. Now if I sign in with my ESRI account then it works. I haven't submitted a new address to test, but it loads and shows the fields I setup and everything. It LOOKS like I expect it to look. BUT... I don't want users to have to sign in. The very nature of where I put the GeoForm (internal server) means only internal users can access it. But if I SHARE the AGOL objects with the public then theoretically I could end up with outside users creating points. I do not want that. I'm thinking that maybe I configured the proxy incorrectly? <serverUrl url="https://developers.arcgis.com/applications/AppID" username="myusername" password="mypassword" matchAll="true"/> <serverUrl url="http://cityoftulsa.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=FeatureLayerID" username="myusername" password="mypassword" matchAll="true"/> <serverUrl url="https://cityoftulsa.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=AGOLWebMapID" username="myusername" password="mypassword" matchAll="true"/> <serverUrl url="http://internaladdress/geoforms/GeoFormName/" username="myusername" password="mypassword" matchAll="true"/> <serverUrl url="http://cityoftulsa.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=DeveloperAppID" username="myusername" password="mypassword" matchAll="true"/> I tried the ClientID and ClientSecret but that didn't work... so I switched to this option and still doesn't work.

I'm trying to configure the MyGovernmentService solution... We ALREADY HAVE IT SETUP but I am placing the newest version over top and I cannot for the life of me find the means for setting up the routing service. I've googled, I've searched gis.stackexchange and I've searched EXTENSIVELY on ArcGIS... but all I get is how to put the service in the app, not how to configure it or create it. Frustrating.

http://maps.cityoftulsa.org/MapGallery/ This URL is for our Map Gallery for the City of Tulsa. It has been working without a glitch until today. I'm getting a 503 error suddenly stating that 'groups' is the unavailable service and I'm confused. Does anyone have any ideas?

So it would appear that if your organization has multiple domains for internal viewing then we need to check those URL's before sharing with M4CC.

I'm an old school programmer. I've been doing it off and on over the years on desktop, mobile and web. I've only got a smattering of classroom training so alot of the terminology escapes me despite grasping the concepts. So please forgive me if I 'word' this wrong. What I am looking for is the CODE FLOW or the LOOP that a fully developed Web Map travels through upon loading as well as any FLOW or LOOP the Widgets make? Let me try to explain for those who don't understand. I used to code for a web CMS (Content Management System) like Zikula, and I've done some for Wordpress as well. The way I learned how to code for both the CORE library as well as to develop Add-ons (think Widgets in WAB) was to learn the CODE FLOW or LOOP. Basically a flow chart that showed... When the app loaded into the browser, it first ran this code in this file, then this code in this file, then.. ad nauseum. I could see where changes needed to be made for custom adjustments or how to configure my custom add-ons. Now what I used to do was just take large packages like a WAB Map and put a ton of CONSOLE commands in, or Debug commands, so that when EVERY function was called it triggered in the CONSOLE and I could both watch the app load and see the code being called or I could go back and read through the process. Has anyone made such a beast for the WAB Maps?

If I remove the layer but leave the basemap it puts the basemap, credits, scale and more into the Illustrator document... but add a layer and forget about it.
