Unfortunately attachments are not supported in GeoEvent. This was confirmed by ESRI. The way I got around it is by creating a model in ArcGIS Pro that does this and run it at regular intervals. This allows me to copy a feature class w/ attachments included and also export attachments.

I have an Input set-up in GeoEvent to poll a feature class. These features have image attachments with them. I'm trying to get GeoEvent to poll the feature class and copy it over to a new feature class (using either the Add a Feature or Update a Feature) with the attachment. It copies the data over currently but not the attachment. Is there a way to get GeoEvent to copy over the attachment to the new feature class too?

RJ Sunderman I am having the same issue described in the thread GeoEvent: disable rollback on output feature service connector ... What would the filter look like in GeoEvent? All I want to do is filter out any events that have too many characters in the string and are therefore causing a roll back.

Thanks Adam! I just figured out another way to do it in GeoEvent. First, I used a Field Calculator in GeoEvent to combine the date and time fields (Date + ' ' + Time) and output the result as a string. Then I used another Field Calculator to replace all the dashes in the date field (replaceAll(Date,'-','/')). I created a new date field while also creating a new definition that had a date/time field. Finally I used Field Mapper to map this newly created date/time field from the new definition in a new feature layer.

I have a feature layer that has the date/time in two separate string fields labeled "Date" and "Time". I need to convert these into a date field using GeoEvent. I created a second feature service that has a DateTime field that is a date field however I am having trouble getting GeoEvent to copy the string date over into the second feature layer as a date. Any help is appreciated.

I have two point feature classes. FeatureClass1 is updated via a Survey123 project. Whenever a new entry is created, I want to buffer that point and use that as a GeoFence in GeoEvent. That way when FeatureClass2 has an entry, it will check to see if it is in the polygon buffer of FeatureClass1 and send an email if so. Any help on how to this with GeoFences in GeoEvent would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

After some time with ESRI, we think we found the issue. For my layer, there were attachments as well as a related table. When I removed the attachments and the related table in the SDE, the Indicator showed the correct number. For some reason the Count in the Indicator must have been counting either the attachments or some of the related records. Hope this helps!

I am trying to create an indicator in the new Operations Dashboard and want to have it display the count of my features. When I do so however, it gives an incorrect number. The layer should have 42 features (and it even shows that if you open the table when creating the indicator), however when I actually create the indicator it shows 143 features. Does anyone have any ideas why it's giving me a wrong count when it should say 42 instead of 143? Thanks!
