I have a survey with a DateTime question. When I look at the data on https://survey123.arcgis.com the date is displayed, and you need to select a record then look at the popup pane on the right to see the time. Is there a way to also display the time in the column?

Thanks Brandon. I'll do that in the future, but ideas never seem to get any traction IMO. I've also noted Esri staff (in other geonet spaces) recommending that usability requests get posted to geonet. That way they are seen by the app team and more likely to get adopted. Maybe it's a team-specific thing though....

I would like to see a "Filter by group" option for My Surveys in the field app (similar to filtering the maps in Collector). I author a lot of surveys for a lot of different groups, this would be super helpful!

I'd love to see the option to collapse a group question from anywhere in the group, instead of having to scroll to the top. If the group name & the expand/collapse button could float below the survey title (or something similar) that would be great!

No I would leave it enabled. I know there is a bug where disabling then re-enabling sync can cause issues similar to those you're describing. Tech support recommended always enabling sync at the time of publishing (even if you don't think you'll need it) and leaving it enabled.

I second Alicia's suggestion of publishing your surveys to a related table. With the relationship in place you can easily pull up all previous surveys through the asset's popup window. We are using this work flow for hydrant and valve inspections and it works quite well. This blog post, while long, goes into great detail regarding how to get this done. In the end it's not hard at all, you just need to pay attention to a few additional details. https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2017/09/25/working-with-existing-feature-services-in-survey123-for-arcgis

Thanks for the detailed reply Brian. I'm working strictly with http:// hyperlinks so I would expect them to open in safari no matter where they are called from. It's good to know about the explorer work-around, though I need something streamlined. Added complexity in the workflow always comes back to get you somehow.... Also good to know it's working as expected (for now) in Aurora, since I haven't been able to carve out the time for any detailed testing there. I'll also have to look into good reads, as this seems like it may be another option to do what I'm trying to do here (link to some reference pdfs). Doug Morgenthaler or Derek Law do you have any info on why http:// links are opening differently in custom popups vs native popups?

Hi Doug can you expand on this some more, or point to some other documentation that explains this better? We link to pdfs on a web server (http://) from ios devices and some links open in a mini browser in collector (hyperlinks from a custom popup) while others open directly in safari (layers with native popups).

I have a map for collector that is viewed on several windows 10 tablets. Everything is hosted on ArcGIS online (maps and feature services). The map is used for adding asset inspections via survey123 (survey is launched from a popup link, passing several asset attributes to the survey). The inspections are stored in a related table, and inspection records are viewable via the asset popup. When a user submits an inspection it takes a long time (> 10 minutes, sometimes longer) for that person to see the related record in the asset popup. Other users can see the inspections instantly, but the submitting user cannot. I do not see a way to change the refresh interval for a table. Is there a way to fix this? On iOS the related records are visible immediately. There is also an issue with address searches. The organization is set to search via a locator view (Esri world), which iOS seems to respect, but windows 10 does not. This is causing irrelevant search results (i.e. 100 main gives many results from out of state, not limited to the area specified in the locator view).

This is genius, thanks for the idea! In theory pulldata would also work if you didn't want to use a nested if statement. If my memory is correct (rarely!), the limitation regarding collector passing the domain description (instead of the code) lies within Collector itself. This is something that should be resolved when Collector Aurora is released, using Arcade. I had a discussion about this somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Edit: Found it https://community.esri.com/message/767819-re-question-about-spaces-in-survey123-connect-name-fields-of-choices?commentID…

Thanks Ismael. I've got it sorted now, and I'll explain in hopes that it may help someone else in the future. It turns out that my devices (both Android and iOS) were caching something which was causing the surveys to throw the error despite getting supportApplyEditsWithGlobalIds property set to true. Deleting and re-adding the surveys did not solve the issue. I had to uninstall the app, get rid of all S123 data on the devices, then re-download which wound up solving the issue. Another note, my circumstance was unusual because despite having indexed GlobalIDs (as added by enabling sync) I also had attachments enabled via an OID relationship. This is the way the feature services had been published, and the OID relationship was holding the parameter to false. Thankfully the existing attachments were not very important (there weren't many) so I was able to disable attachments on the feature service, which then set supportApplyEditsWithGlobalIds: true. Enabling attachments again (via the item settings) used GlobalIDs as expected and left the parameter at true.

I would love to see this in the near future. My use case would be similar to the original post, to get some additional data from existing assets. The data changes from time to time and wouldn't be well suited as a csv snapshot within the survey. External selects using a feature service would also be very useful.
