Good morning, We have a request from an user who is looking for a way to see the code instead of the description in a field or fields in a FC that are associated with domains. Some users are more familiarized wit codes, and when they use the column in ArcMAp, it shows the code too, to make a join with another FC or table. Is there a way to show a FC in ArcCatalog that uses domains with the code instead of description from the domain? Thanks

Hello everyone Its looks like these two cases produce the same results: querySAOall = populated with a condition # Make feature layer from my input data
arcpy.MakeFeatureLayer_management(inSAO, "LayerAll")
# Select by attribute and switch the selection
arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management ("LayerAll", "NEW_SELECTION", querySAOall)
arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management ("LayerAll", "SWITCH_SELECTION") or: # Make feature layer from my input data
arcpy.MakeFeatureLayer_management(inSAO, "LayerAll", querySAOall)
# Select by attribute and switch the selection
arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management ("LayerAll", "SWITCH_SELECTION") For me in the second case, the second "arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management" line should return 0 because it is trying to select from a "SWITCH_SELECTION", and in the previous arcpy.MakeFeatureLayer_managemen we only select records with the condition querySAOall arcpy.MakeFeatureLayer_management(inSAO", "LayerAll", querySAOall) arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management ("LayerAll", "SWITCH_SELECTION") Please advise.

Can I create a .geodatabase with ArcGIS Desktop? Can a mobile .geodatabase point directly to SDE or do I need a synchronization tool to refresh the database?
