Similar to what Dan said, Esri is employing the "adopt or die" method with their software. We have similar issues where I work regarding third party add-ons that only work with ArcMap 10.6.1, etc. For those users, we kind of forced them to learn Pro but still use ArcMap when needing that add-on. Maybe it's time to have people live in both worlds until it's "time".

There are a few you can use. I would say it depends on what the client wants. You could try the National Grid of Great Britain - EPSG:27700 (not the best for Northern Ireland but grabs the 'big' island. There are some ideas on this page: https://epsg.io/?q=United%20Kingdom%20kind%3APROJCRS

In ArcGIS Pro 3.0, this ability was removed. See the documentation: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.9/help/data/cad/cad-options.htm This was a very helpful feature that automatically converted the CAD (dwg or dgn) drawing into separate feature classes based on the CAD drawings level or layer. I know that that "work around" is to use the geoprocessing tool of CAD to Geodatabase but this is very simplified compared to what it used to do. This tool only breaks down the CAD layers into very generic points, lines, and polygons with dumbed down symbology.

This sounds like a projection issue. When you bring the CAD layers into Pro, where do they show up (like in the middle of the ocean by 0,0 coordinates, or somewhere else)? In ArcMap, can you see what coordinate system they have assigned?

Yeah, that's what I have discovered from ExpB as well. I keep using Web AppBuilder since I like its filter widget much better. I am not using Arcade though. Either way, this might be a good idea to submit this idea to ArcGIS Ideas: https://community.esri.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/arcgis-ideas

I am going to say yes. But, you will really have to test it out yourself to see if it will work. I would suggest building it the way you want in an Experience Builder app (and if that just won't cut it, try it in Web AppBuilder but be away the Web AppBuilder will be completely deprecated soon). Maybe you could build it quick in ExpB and see if it will work and go from there? Other than that, it will all depend on how it behaves, etc. I hope that's not too vague!

It sounds like what you might need to do is construct your Dashboard within ArcGIS Experience Builder. That way, you can add an elevation profile widget and allow more functionality. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/latest/configure-widgets/elevation-profile-widget.htm#:~:text=The%20Elevation%20Profile%20widget%20includes,selectable%20layers%2C%20and%20intersecting%20layers. ArcGIS Dashboards are great for what they do, but they are limited in order to make them easier.
