I just upgraded to Pro 2.3 and am doing the exact same process I did in 2.2 but with different results (same day). I have a polygon feature in a file geodatabase that is symbolized based on a domain I have set up. When I use the Split tool to divide up my polygon, the new resulted split polygons change all my domains to null. This is more of a potential bug report than anything else. But, has anyone else seen this?

Alessandro, Are you getting the error in ArcGIS Pro or in the other software? I am not sure which direction to point you in but I am tagging Bruce Harold as he knows a lot about Data Interoperability. #data interoperabiltiy #data interoperability tool extension Spatial Data Infrastructures

Hi, In ArcGIS Pro, you will first want to perform the geodatabase tool of KML to Layer to take your KML to a Geodatabase feature class: KML To Layer—Conversion toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop After that, you will want to export your feature class (layer) to a shapefile. Or just perform the geodatabase tool of Feature Class to Shapefile: Feature Class To Shapefile—Conversion toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop

Steven, I don't think it would hurt to try the other things I mentioned - Repair install of ArcGIS and/or resetting your normal.mxt.

Steven, Your best bet is to single out where the issue occurs. Does this occur on other computers? Does this occur with other projects? Does this occur with other versions of the software? You may not be able to answer these questions but knowing these answers can be helpful. If it does not occur on other projects, maybe try saving your project as another mxd file and see if you're still getting the issue. If it does not occur on other computers, maybe try performing a Repair install on your software (or reset your mxt template file). If it does not occur on other versions, see if you can upgrade, etc. I hope this helps.

Jim, Take a look at this thread: https://community.esri.com/thread/105193 It looks like a similar issue that you're having with similar output errors. There are a couple of suggestions on how to get around this. I hope this helps.

No problem! I'm glad it worked out. Labelling is tricky as there are too many variables to consider! Maplex is another one of those things that throws me for a loop all the time.

It may be related to a map series, I don't know. Do you have Maplex Label Engine turned on?

I'm not sure how QGIS handles geodatabases but you can add a table to an AGOL map from a zipped geodatabase. Take a look at this article: FAQ: Is it possible to publish standalone tables to ArcGIS Online? Instructions: Alternatively, the standalone table can also be opened in ArcGIS Online without using the publishing method. To do so: Close all ArcGIS programs and zip the geodatabase that contains the table. Upload the zipped geodatabase file to ArcGIS Online as an item in My Content. Now relating it is a different story. I would have to play around with some stuff to see if it worked for me, so maybe it's worth trying that method?

Eric, Take a look at this thread: Add data to a related table in ArcGIS Online It looks like this idea is still in the ArcGIS Ideas phase but there is a potential work around in that thread that could help your situation. Also, this FAQ mentions that AGOL does support joins and relates and lists a couple of articles on how to do this. It's not very robust though: FAQ: Does ArcGIS Online support joins and relates? One more thread: this walks through how to properly share the related table in Pro: https://community.esri.com/thread/198458-publish-hosted-feature-service-with-related-tables-wont-work-with-arcgis-pro-20 ...but not having desktop might pose as a problem.

Fay, I'd be curious to know what you find out. Plus, you could potentially share one of your CAD files here on GeoNet, have someone with 10.6 convert it to a shapefile (or whatever file you need) and then try it again on program to see if it works. Just an idea
