I am looking to do exactly this but wish there was a more streamlined way of doing this. @RichardFairhurst , have you looked into making your add-in Pro-compatible?

Thanks Dan. Yeah, that's the "easy" answer. I am just wondering if QuickCapture can do this as a feature of its own data collection. But I am not sure that any Esri products can do that (without the in-office calculations, which is fine, but I am just looking for a quicker result!)

I hope this is a simple question with a simple answer. I want to drive a road and have it record the grade of the road in terms of percentage of the slope (negative for downhill and positive for uphill). Can QuickCapture record this kind of data out of the box? Or can ArcGIS Field Maps do this? Or would it take more steps to calculate and record this data? One more nugget of detail, maybe every 100 feet of the driven road is what I'd like to segment the line in order to get a slope measurement. Thanks!

It looks like this was fixed in ArcGIS Pro 2.9. In the map properties, there is now a box to check to allow assignment of unique numeric IDs for sharing web layers: I tried republishing a web map after adding new layers to it recently and get this error number of 00374 about this. Now if you look at the properties of one of your layers, you will see where you can assign your layer ID:

That's the hard part; the try-and-test method! Maybe that "is not null" value in the filter is causing issues? I would try messing with the filter, the category field, and the counting field, just to try and force it to show you what you want to see. Maybe also another thing to check, is to fully make sure your data table is showing you what you need it to show you (you can click on "Show data table" at the top). In my table, I can see that three of my "ownership numbers" have no value, or a null value here:

Hmm, that is a little tricky. Thanks for sharing your screenshot. This is what my full setup looks like: For my chart, it looks for anything with a "stage" value of "Acquisition". In my table itself, there are 10 rows with this value. But for counting, it is looking for anything with "ownership number". Only 7 of those 10 rows have a value in ownership number. The other 3 are <null>. One more thing to point out, I am symbolizing my chart by a field called "Status1" so it is not using "stage" or "ownership number". I wonder if that makes a difference. Does this help? I would play around with the different variables and make sure the counting one has a null value where you want it to show zero. Let me know what you find out.

Hi Craig, In my non-spatial rows, the domains are still in the same field. All fields are valid data entry points so that you can put whatever and still have it behave with domain rules, if that makes sense. Each domain is on a new row. To illustrate, here is a screen shot of the bottom of my attribute table. The highlighted rows all have no geometry: Let me know if you have more questions.

There is a workaround I came up with. Take a look at this thread response: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-dashboards-questions/including-blank-values-for-a-serial-chart-in/m-p/1095357#M5024

Alright y'all, I think I have solved my own problem with some creativity and without using JSON or other Arcade like coding. In ArcGIS Pro, if I add an empty row at the bottom of my attribute table (without adding any geometry - by clicking "Click to add new row"): I can populate that row with the values of my domain. Doing this, I can make every value show up in my attribute table, and then republish my map. Those values now exist without any polygon data. Now, in order to make them show up in the Serial Chart on dashboards, I just tell it to do a count of my main identifying value (which for me is the "ownership number"): And voila! I now have "zero" values for all the attributes I want to show in my serial chart! I hope this helps some of y'all! One thing to point out, I was using object_id as my counting variable. If I continued to use object_id, it would count all my records and I would not have zero values. It would look something like this:

Thanks Robin. I have not revisited this issue since the design team that I made the app for kind of gave up quickly on the app due to it not delivering. I am bookmarking this thread so I can come back to it to see this note!

I had the same thing happen to me. The only way I found around it was to just create a new domain from scratch. This is not a sustainable workaround. ArcGIS Pro 2.8.2 - locally stored file geodatabase.

As far as I know, the only way to create a hosted feature layer view is only within ArcGIS Online, not within Pro. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/create-hosted-views.htm

Wow, I wonder if you're right about this being a new bug in 2.8. Are there any special or limiting characters in your file path, like a semi-colon, that could be stopping this operation from happening? Could you try importing directly to the geodatabase from the catalog pane and choosing "Feature Class(es)"?

Tyler, I am not sure but I do not think that this is intended behavior of Survey123. Perhaps the user could download the PDF, fill it out, then attach it to the survey as an item and submit that altogether at the end?
