If this runs excellent within a folder and not in a personal geodatabase, have you tried a file geodatabase? Is it possible that your geodatabase is locked (have you tried restarting your PC and trying again)?

I'm not really sure but have you verified that the user enter variables are coming out the way they should be? What I do while testing is to do a few prints just to make sure that the output locations and things like that are looking how they are supposed to look. Can you see if the geodatabase is locked (like, can you perform this clipping without Python to make sure it works)? Also, for saving, doesn't the Clip_management command save to a variable in its options (as opposed to having to save the raster later on)? This article shows that the third parameter in Clip_management is the output raster: Clip—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

hmmm, is there a way for you to share a screenshot of the Edit widget configuration to see if there is some kind of option there that needs to be looked at?

Are you wanting this annotation to be saved later for others to see? Or just for you to see? Using something like WebAppBuilder, you can utilize a Draw Widget that will allow you to draw shapes as well as text (annotation): Draw widget—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

Wow thanks! Great script. Those does exactly what I needed it to do. One question though, what is the point of the "zoneNameField" in this? Doesn't the script just cycle through all of the features within that feature class? If some features had the same zone name, would those get counted the same? Thanks again.

I'm running ArcGIS 10.3.1 Desktop (ArcMap) on Windows 10, 64-bit. I am not sure that I would want a graphics layer as opposed to a feature class within a geodatabase. And, I am not as familiar with .NET as I once was year ago...
