Howdy Thomas, I think there is an easy way to do what you are asking without any custom programming. It you were to create a Map Tour story map, then you can use one of the 'title' like attributes as your date. Plus, it will pan to each spot as long as the zoom is set in far enough. Hmmm, that's a tough one. It seems like (from reading the point clustering example) that there are many places in which you would put in the code. But, after looking through the main.js document from the shortlist template, it is more confusing than I would have thought. I am not a web developer so I am not sure on where things should and shouldn't go... I wish I could help more, sorry about that. Wow, that is even more interesting that two separate machines with different OS's and GIS versions behave the same way. Where are you located?
