+1 Have enabled feature binning plus cache in Azure SQL (not a geodatabase) Layer properties says its enabled However, unlike your screenshot, I don't even get the greyed out icon. Nothing.

+1 for someone who would like to have the ability to spin up a Geodatabase in Azure SQL and tie it directly to the base deployment over spinning up an entirely new GIS Server site.

I have a need to restrict the scale level to around 1:30,000 for a series of maps I will be embedding into the Cascade Story Map template. Therefore, I created my own simple basemap (key for this one is simple) using some minimal reference datasets. I ran the Generate Map Server Cache Tiling Scheme tool to create an xml file (pastebin) I then created a Tile Package in ArcGIS Pro (see screenshot below) Using the new tiling scheme (Web Mercator, but my scale levels) PNG I then uploaded this into my ArcGIS Online account and published the tiles. This appears great, and I can add it as a basemap layer into the Map Viewer. IF I refresh the browser or try to open the web map again, it then gives me a "The basemap layer is not a supported type" and reverts to the default basemap for our organisation. I initially tried using a local coordinate system (VicGrid GDA2020) but have reverted to Web Mercator for the map. However I do not want to use the ArcGIS Online/Bing tiling scheme as that will have high detail levels of detail. I need to prevent the user from zooming in beyond 1:30k Any idea why I am getting the error? Is there specific requirements for a layer to be nested on its own in the basemap group in a web map? Thanks EDIT Just tried a JPEG tile package using same tiling scheme. Same issue. Looks good... Save and refresh... Have also followed the steps in this whitepaper (from ArcGIS Pro) and also Bern Szukalski blog post here. I get the same error. Strangely, if I google for this exact error, it would appear that this Geonet post is the only result, so it must be something wrong with my data/workflow?

Not tested it, but is one workaround to: Add an integer field Apply a ranking to it based upon attribute query/calculate field i.e. Important features = 1; lower priority features = 2 Perform a sort on this new field, with higher priority features at the bottom of your table. I think I am right in saying that a hosted feature layer will respect the drawing order based upon ObjectID Will draw features based upon ObjectID field, so final render - features that are drawn last will be on top?

+1 with same issue. I prebaked a rgb(R,G,B) value into a new string field. All values look good to me Enable symbol property connections Can't pick field from drop down Arcade does not seem to flow through. Similar scenario - I have property zones that I need to colour by the RGB value field. Running ArcGIS Pro 2.4 Beta 2 Would love to see some examples, sure we can't be far off?

I'm also running 2.4 Beta 2. numpy.version.version = '1.16.2' My hulls.py (from your point tools toolbox) initially has this code (l.328): for i in range(0, len(groups)):
p = groups[i]
n = len(p)
p = p[['SHAPE@X', 'SHAPE@Y']]
p = p.view(np.float64).reshape(n, 2) Tweaking this to: for i in range(0, len(groups)):
p = groups[i]
p = p[['SHAPE@X', 'SHAPE@Y']]
n = len(p)
p = stu(p) # ---- big Stu comes to the rescue Works for both the smaller single OD result, and for the larger test area. Will have a look at crunching the 3M points once I have finessed some of the travel mode settings. Side question. I was hoping it might carry through the grouping field into the resulting polygon layer. I can potentially get around this if I end up iterating through the OD destination results, and apply some update fields in the process. But I imagine that would be a useful attribute to bake into the result? Thanks for your quick responses Dan. I think my owed beer tab for you is going to get me into debt

Thanks Dan. Some info: No Z/M Value Smaller sample size - 2300 points (Layer Package - 300kb) Have tried with 3, 5, 7 and 11 - same error Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\_Arcgis_Util\PointTools_pro\Scripts\hulls.py", line 331, in <module>
p = p.view(np.float64).reshape(n, 2)
ValueError: cannot reshape array of size 6906 into shape (2302,2)
Failed to execute (ConcaveHull). "remove some duplicates or interior points if you can via selecting by distance to lines" Good tip. I was initially contemplating running the script in batches. More background: This forms part of a larger process for an accessibility workflow, that I will aim to script up and ideally make reusable for other cities. For this initial project, looking at accessibility to schools in order to come up with some better school zones (Voronoi polygons is how they currently decide which school properties are assigned to...) Property points + location of interest (my study will be schools, but could be transit stops, job centers, hospitals, etc.) Origin Destination Matrix - Origins: Properties, Destinations: Schools (Options in here around travel mode, transit/walking/etc) This then gives you the result you saw in my first screenshot - properties, nearest school ID, including travel time to the nearest school - screenshot symbolised by the school id (DestinationID) - (layer package 1.2MB) Next step is to create the regions around the OD results. Convex Hull works fine with the data, but the results are not suitable - overlapping My initial thinking to then create the zones, is to make use of a convex hull. Not going to work Concave hull looks suitable. I would imagine there will still be some topological tests, possibly using integrate to ensure a seamless region layer at the end. Convex Hull - not suitable: Let me know if you have any ideas why your tool might not be working and if you have any additional ideas I could try. I will be sharing my workings once I hopefully get to a happy end result.

Any tips on what needs tweaking to get this running in ArcGIS Pro? Running 2.4 of ArcGIS Pro Trying to create a concave hull on 14k points (will later be expanding the analysis to 2M points) Have tried a few different tests, but I get the following error with k11 File "C:\_Arcgis_Util\ConcaveHullByCase\ConcaveHullByCase.py", line 57
hypotList = [math.hypot(pDict[oid][0]-pDict[id][0],pDict[oid][1]-pDict[id][1]) for id in pDict.keys() if id <> oid and id not in excludeList]
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
Failed to execute (ConcaveHull). Using the minimum bounding geometry - convex hull works ok, but I need a tighter result, so concave looks like the right approach. Any ideas/pointers?

Hi Dan. I have downloaded your Point Tools and imported into my Project. Running 2.4 of ArcGIS Pro Trying to create a concave hull on 14k points (will later be expanding the analysis to 2M points) Have tried a few different tests, but I get the following error Traceback (most recent call last):

ValueError: cannot reshape array of size 5700 into shape (1900,2)
Failed to execute (ConcaveHull). I imagine it has an issue with the data I am feeding into it? Using the minimum bounding geometry - convex hull works ok, but I need a tighter result, so concave looks like the right approach. Any ideas?

Hey Daniel I was wondering if this specific capability might be on the road-map for both Hub and ArcGIS Sites? As a portal admin, if I have enabled Metadata on my items, I would like the users to also recieve the XML metadata included in the data download (regardless of format choice). This is so that I can ensure the valuable metadata is transported with the data.

This would be of value for a number of organisations in Australia that would like to consume secure feeds from state and federal agencies (typically secure WMS with basic auth) I originally thought this limitation might be by design, as you potentially could take someones secure WMS (secure for a reason) and then embed the credentials into the item, and share to public. This could be seen as a potential security risk. However, I noticed that the platform allows you to save the credentials of a standalone ArcGIS Server map service into an item - therefore the same capability could also be matched for secure OGC services?

I have a point dataset with a single datetime field; I have enabled Time using this field; I have a time window of 1 day; The temporal extent of the dataset is one month I want to come up with a renderer, that shows points that are at the front of the time window to be entirely solid. But at the back of the time window, I want them to be pretty much transparent. So a linear stretch of opacity for the time window. Easier to take look at this example. My question is how to best achieve this within ArcGIS Pro? Pretty sure Arcade is going to be involved in the answer, but I am struggling to see how I can leverage the current time of the slider to drive my symbology. Can anyone point me to some similar snippets that might help me achieve this?

Really appreciate that well written response. I think I will see if I can shift the workflow to ArcGIS Pro. A couple of other things have come up, but aim to look at sorting this out next week, your logic gives me everything I need. I will report back with my workings for completeness. Big thanks, I imagine your answer will be useful for others.
