Hi Northern Beaches Council, That's a pretty unique name Anyway, I think I maybe be able to help you. Firstly, have you looked at Jake Skinner's post. As the post mention's this solution will require you to uncheck - "allow only standard SQL queries". If that is not an option, you'll have to use "in the last" and "not in the last" dynamic date expressions on your webmap's filter or when defining a feature layer view. The following expression will show features edited in the last day. If you are to go with the 2nd option - you'll need to be a little creative To show events after your Start_Date - write the following expression: Start_Date "in the last" 90 years (or a very large time period). To show events before your End_Date - write the following expression: End_Date "not in the last" 90 years (or a very large time period). Hope this is helpful, Gee

Great post Jake Skinner, If folks aren't allowed to uncheck - "allow only standard SQL queries", you could still use "in the last" and "not in the last" dynamic date expressions on webmap filters or when defining feature layer views. Great post Jake Skinner, it's really helpful. One of the small issues with this method is that - the features that aren't shown on the map are still selectable (even though they are invisible), and will produce a popup. Kelly Gerrow - Could you please look into why features that aren't selected to be shown on webmaps produce this behaviour. THANKS!!! But, you'll have the capability to use "in the last" and "not in the last" dynamic date expressions on webmap filters or when defining feature layer views (and get around this issue) The following expression will show features edited in the last day. Hope this helps. Gee

Hi team, I'd like to request an option for constraint messages to show up (instantly) when an user incorrectly fills in a field. Currently, users only see these messages when they go to submit the surveys. To get around this I use 'notes' with relevant conditions. So when an user incorrectly fills in a field - that particular note is shown as a prompt for them to fix the issue then and there. But, this is can be quite cumbersome when there are multiple constraints. It'll be greatly appreciated - if this could be looked into soon. Thanks so much, Gee

Love these features !! Will the 'create feature report' module be included in MS Flow? Some of my clients already have access to Office 365. And it would nice if I could leverage that. Also, I noted that dates are still presented in UTC - even though I changed it to UTC + 10 - as per the video - Survey123: Create feature reports with Integromat - YouTube using ArcGIS Online and Survey123 3.5 on an iPad Pro (2nd Gen)

Love this functionality. Especially - being able to edit/add images I too would like this functionality to be extended to editing repeats. Thanks so much, Gee

Hi, I love the feature search ability - https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/create-maps/configure-feature-search.htm If possible, I'd love for this to be extended to search Double fields (currently only string and integer fields are supported). An example is the following 'Development Applications Layer,' where application numbers are stored as Doubles. DA_NUMBER ( type: esriFieldTypeDouble , alias: DA_NUMBER ) Thanks, Gee

I'd love for Ops Dashboard to have the ability to re-order categories in Serial Charts? Currently, we're able to sort categories. But, unable to categorise them manually. Thanks, Gee

On Operations Dashboard, I love the ability to filter data across different data sources through an attribute or spatial relationship. But currently this cannot be performed on Serial or Pie charts. Would love for this feature to be added in the near future Thanks so much, Gee

Hi everyone, On the weekend, I came across the ability to add SVGs into popups, and pass numbers as text into SVG expressions to change size, color, etc. Example of SVG <svg width="100" height="100">
<circle cx="50" cy="50" r="40" stroke="green" stroke-width="4" fill="yellow" />
</svg>
<svg width="{ball_width_as_String}" height="{ball_height_as_String}">
<circle cx="50" cy="50" r="40" stroke="green" stroke-width="4" fill="yellow" />
</svg> I haven’t seen any documentation around this yet. But, I can imagine these being useful in creating infographics to show gender breakdowns, modes of travel to work, etc. Has anyone played around with SVGs in popups before and willing to share any nice examples? Thanks, Gee

Thanks for the suggestions. And yes, these can definitely be deployed I used Custom pulldata() JavaScript Functions for this solution. This may not be the best solution for finding co-ordinates from an address. As it doesn't support autocomplete as you start typing. It only looks for a match after you've typed the three words. This means - if there isn't an one to one match - it won't work. https://api.what3words.com/v3/convert-to-coordinates?words=your.three.words&key=[API-KEY]
But, using the what3words Locator from ArcGIS Marketplace and adding it as a Geo-coder will get around this issue (which I'm yet to try). This can be done by replacing the highlighted font with your own ${threeWordsStringVariable} (using dynamic labels) - https://map.what3words.com/swimming.cycling.running

///swimming.cycling.running. Is it a triathlon or a 3m x 3m grid reference - somewhere in New South Wales, Australia? WHAT3WORDS is a really simple way to talk about location. The world has been divided into a grid of 3m x 3m squares and assigned each one a unique 3 word address. It means anyone can accurately find any location and share it more quickly, easily and with less ambiguity than any other system. And thanks to what3words' free API and some of Survey123's new functionalities (Dynamic Labels and JavaScript Functions), I was able to develop a simple app to share ///your.three.words with a recipient of your choice. Click below to watch the app in action. Whether you are responding to emergencies or navigating uncharted territory; what3words can help you. If you're interested in further developing this solution please download the files attached. And be sure to share how it helped your business in the comments below. Cheers! - Gee UPDATE - Reverse Geocoding using Survey123 Since writing this report, it was brought to my attention that the above procedure could be simplified by using Survey123's Reverse Geocoding feature. Steps to get this working are outlined below; Get what3words API key Once you have an API key - request for ArcGIS access Once you receive your password - add the following service to your portal - https://arcgis.what3words.com/w3w/rest/services/what3words_EN_English/GeocodeServer refer to this post for - how to connect to secure services Give the geocoder item's URL to one of the admins to add it as a Geocoder to your organization Write a similar expression in xls form's calulation field - which will return - what3words' location as a JSON object pulldata("@geopoint",${location},"reversegeocode","geocoder item's URL") Refer to this blog post - for more details around reverse Geocoding in Survey123

Hi James, I actually got this to work by pasting in the custom URL as plain text (not the prettiest solution). And when opening using the latest version of Collector on an iOS device it recognizes the text string to be a hyperlink. But this technique will not work if you try to pass an attribute that has a SPACE in it. For example the attribute ADDRESS may have spaces in its results. As a result the URL will break at that point. Thanks for the help. Gee

Would someone be able to elaborate on this solution (the referred content is no longer there) Currently, I'm trying to implement a custom URL to open Survey123 and bring in some fields (on 10.4.1) Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gee
