Arief, Go to the original machine where you authorized your Desktop License using ArcGIS Pro. Just start ArcGIS Pro. Go to the Configure your licensing option. Switch to Single Use License Type. Click on the option to Deauthorize. ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Desktop use the same authorization wizard to authorize/deauthorize licenses. It should list all Single Use licenses (Pro and Desktop) on the system. Check off all licenses you want to deauthorize. Once completed, you can go ahead and authorize your Desktop license on the new system.

Pan gis, Returning a license via deauthorize is different from Recovering lost license via MyEsri. When you authorize a license on a system, the license stays on the system. When you deauthorize the license, it returns back to the licensing server so you an authorize it on other systems. In a case, where you lost the machine the license was authorized on, crash, or other factors where you no longer have access to the machine to return the license, you can go to MyEsri to request to recover a lost license. You were unable to recover the lost license due to various reasons. For example, there may be a maximum number of return in place for your license. You can contact Esri Customer Service for the specific issue on your license. When you mentioned you were able to deauthorize licenses on a machine, it means there was a license on the machine to deauthorize. That means you an authorize that license on another machine. It's possible your may have more than one license or you have a single license but approved to authorized twice. If you have a single use license, you're usually authorized to license a workstation and a laptop. Again contact Customer Service. The representative can tell you how many license you have and which machine it was licensed on.

Michael, Just to rule profile out of the equation, can your run ArcGIS Pro as a different user? If it starts, something went wrong in your user profile. I can provide steps to help clear that up if that is the case.

The first screen shot you have displayed ArcGIS Pro Basic for ArcGIS Pro and Desktop Basic for ArcGIS Desktop. Here you have 13 Basic ArcGIS Desktop license. In the ArcGIS Administrator, go back to the Desktop folder and make sure the license manager is pointing to HQD0630009. It's likely pointing to another license manager which would explain all the other extension licenses. If it's pointing to the correct license manager, it should display 13 Desktop Basic, 13 3D Analyst and 13 Spatial Analyst extension licenses. As for the ArcGIS Pro Basic license, I can't tell from the screenshot above if it's consumed by ArcGIS Pro somewhere or if the license is not available for other reasons. You can go to Availability folder>View License Usage>Check Out tab. Select Desktop Basic Pro to view the system consuming the license. Another option is to check the debug log file. It should provide information about the Pro license. If it's up and running, it should also log who is using the license.

Richard, Sorry, I saw that you had Pro licenses and assume the issue was with the Pro licenses. You have ArcGIS Pro and Desktop licenses with the same issue. You should be able to check out up to 25 licenses of each assuming all licenses are good. If you are unable to checkout more than 5 ArcGIS Desktop licenses, there could be an issue with the entitlement with the 20 licenses. You can easily test by deauthorizing the entitlement ending with 4292. It should display the 20 licenses afterward since that is the lone ArcGIS Advanced licenses. If it does not, please contact Technical Support to have an analyst troubleshoot the issue. Also the analyst can help you combine licenses to a single entitlement for both ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro. As for your question concerning the Repair column, it does not mean your license is broken and needed repair. At the moment, I am not sure what that means. If your license was corrupt and need a repair, it would display that message as soon as you open the license manager.

Richard, Esri is aware of this issue. As you've observed, it seems to be an issue with the latest fnp toolkit. Our team is currently working with Flexera to address the issue. We have a bug logged in our SalesForce tracking system. If you like, please contact our Technical Support and asked to be added to the list of customer experiencing this bug, BUG-000123662. In doing so, you can monitor the progress of the bug. As for the bug itself, it affects both ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro Concurrent licenses. Even though the Availability displayed less than the actual licenses available, all licenses are still available for use. In your case, your users should be able to check out more than 5 Pro Advanced licenses, up to 25. This is only a display issue and should not affect the users. If this is urgent in your environment and cannot wait for the fix, again contact Technical Support and ask to have all your licenses combined to a single entitlement. This will only work if your licenses have the same expiration date such as yours.

Kat, You do not need to deauthorize the Single Use license when upgrading. The same license will apply to the Desktop 10.7.1. As for the error, there is a limit to the ability to authorize/deauthorize the same entitlement. Like George Thompson mentioned above, contact Customer Service. A representative can reset this on the back end.

No. You will need to contact Customer Service or your account manager if you need concurrent use licenses. If you purchased ArcGIS Desktop Single Use license, you're entitled to the same level named user Pro licenses. You have the option to convert the Pro named user licenses to the same level single use Pro single use licenses. You cannot convert it to concurrent use. If you purchased ArcGIS Desktop concurrent use license, you can then convert your Pro named user licenses to concurrent use. Basically you can only convert Pro named user licenses to the license type of the Desktop licenses you've purchased.

Nicole, If you're still having a problem authorizing Pro, perhaps the following may shed a little light on your situation. A purchase of ArcGIS Desktop Standard Single Use license comes with a Named User ArcGIS Pro Standard license by default, as mentioned by Alexandra. You can start Pro using the named user license. To do so, you will need to create an ArcGIS organization as instructed in the email you received. You will then create a user in your organization and assign the ArcGIS Pro license to the user. You can then install Pro and sign in with that user account. The following link walks you through the steps to get started: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/set-up-an-arcgis-online-organization.htm Optionally, you can convert your Pro Named User license to a Pro Single Use license. The following provides steps for that process: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/convert-named-user-licenses-to-single-use.htm If you have any issue with any of these steps, I highly recommend you contact our Technical Support team. An analyst can walk you through the process if necessary. Hope this helps.

Thomas, There was a bug with Pro 2.3 that was recently found and fixed in Pro 2.4. Reproduction case: Authorize ArcGIS Pro with either single or concurrent-use licensing. Sign into AGOL. Switch authorization mode to named user from AGOL. Restart Pro as prompted. Sign into AGOL using the same account as step 2. The error message will now be displayed. The number of licenses assigned to users exceeds the number of licences available in your organization If you get in this state, follow the suggestion I provided above. It should get you back to the default state. Again this issue was found in Pro 2.3 and fixed in Pro 2.4 which should be available very soon.

Mwalimu, Try the following: 1. Open you Windows Explorer and go to C:\Users\<local profile>\AppData\Local\ESRI_Licensing. Rename ESRI_Licensing to ESRI_Licensing_old. 2. Go to the Registry and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and rename ESRI hive to ESRI_old. Upon starting Pro, these files will be created with a default setting, basically resembling a fresh install. If you still experience the issue, it may be a non-Esri corruption in your profile as Thomas pointed out.

@Joe Borgione As the license server administrator, you can force a license check-in. Go to the ArcGIS License Server Administrator. click on the Availability folder and then View License Usage. Go to the Checked Out tab. Click on the drop down menu and select the feature that was checked out. It should display all users consuming that feature. Select the user in question and click Force Check-In in the upper right hand corner. Unfortunately, you can only select a feature at a time. You may need to check the log to see if the user checked out extensions as well. Of course the easier option is to restart the LM when possible. Hope this helps.

Mary Lou, This is a limitation of the concurrent use licensing option. The borrow feature is trigger through the function of the ArcGIS Administrator which requires elevated access as you're aware of. You may have to consider other licensing option for the users who need to take licenses offline such as single use. The other option is to borrow license beforehand. You can extend the max number of days for users to borrow licenses in the License Server Administrator.

Gerald, Can you confirm what version of Drone2Map you've installed. One way is to go to the Programs and Features and look for Drone2Map. It should provide the version number. If you have version 1.3.1 or lower, you may be affected by the TLS update and need to upgrade to at least version 1.3.2.
