@Richie5678 You should be able to add fields to any features in the FileGDB. Add Field and specify the field type as GUID Data design will allow you to view all fields and add/delete as needed GlobalIDs uniquely identify a feature or table row in a geodatabase and across geodatabases ans is required for specific capabilities like replication, versioning etc. If you need to add globalIDs follow Dan's guidance on using Add Global IDs

@ElliottBAR add a negative to your longitude values. For eg. reading from your example I used 33.3744, -111.78 and they landed near Phoenix, AZ.

Very handy tips! I want to add that you can search by Country (Indonesia, Spain) or specific terms (UTM, StatePlane) in case you don't remember the WKID as shown in the video. Reference: Work with coordinate systems

Interesting workflow with Windows, Android, Amazon components in the mix. Thanks for posting the detailed steps - a typical user would never have figured it out! Hoping the platforms would make deployments easier.

@SokoFromNZ Typically, I would make the Spatial Reference determination ahead of time and simply use a method with the appropriate projection WKID. I am not a developer, perhaps this provides some guidance.

@SokoFromNZ Projected Coordinate System (PCS) should be used for distance or area measurements as they are localized to minimize distortion in a particular region. ArcGIS Pro has quick search capabilities to find appropriate Coordinate System/Spatial Reference. For e.g. to find PCS for Spain: Open a tool or properties dialogue that displays coordinate system, like Project Click on the globe icon to get to coordinate system options Select Projected Coordinate System, and enter 'Spain' in the search. Expand on the Projected Coordinate System to view the suggestions Right-click on the coordinate system and click Details to get more info.

@WalterEralio I usually start with the Release notes for example: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/4.24/ At the feature level, you can simply search for the item and there is a note on version introduced:

This article certainly demonstrates potential use of generative AI. Seems like it is a literal read from the image and not much interpretation. @TomBaker curious if the tools can answer questions as: Which state has the highest population? Lowest? Is Utah’s population more than Texas? Can the tools correlate UT = Utah and TX = Texas? Is the population of North Dakota same as that of South Dakota? Is Alaska south of Louisiana?

@AnnaSamuel Recommend the following checks, when using Overlay Route Events The input and overlay events should be based on the same route reference. If both the input and overlay event properties are type Line, the output event properties must also be defined as type Line Ensure events have ObjectID and Location Error fields populated. Review all records where 'Location Error' IS NOT 'No Error' . Fix or exclude erroneous records from the overlay.

@mlanepbi The workflow is better handled through Linear Referencing (simple functions) and ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (advanced functions). You can get started with the following references: Linear referencing datasets Pipelines may be modelled as Routes with the Start/End locations as Calibration Points or simply update measures on the vertices. You can then use the soil layer to Locate Features Along Routes Recommend importing the shapefiles into a file geodatabase and run geoprocessing there Good luck - please post your findings!

The following table should help: International foot US survey foot Imperial foot US foot Foot Survey foot Note that, ArcGIS Pro didn’t differentiate between the two distinct foot definitions previously and this was updated in ArcGIS Pro 3.0. As in the NOAA publication referenced: "U.S. survey foot is retired and replaced by international foot." "From this point forward, surveyors will refer to the international foot as simply the foot."

@Craig_Eissler_Iceman Great question! Looks like you have screenshots from ArcGIS documentation - always helpful if you include the reference link. Anyway, if your focus is Feet, there are just two: 1 International foot = 0.3048 meters 1 US survey foot = 0.3048006096 meters The two federal agencies, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) retired use of the “U.S. survey foot” on December 31, 2022. Reference: https://www.noaa.gov/stories/thinking-on-our-feet-december-31-marks-end-of-us-survey-foot US survey units are based on imperial units (British) and sometimes used interchangeably. As noted above there may be a slight difference between specific US survey units and its corresponding imperial units.
