Hi @NicoleJohnson, sorry to hear that. Do you have a sample URL that we could look into? Is it text widget the main area, or there are some other widgets evolved with the link configured?

Hi @KristenGrimes @abureaux The Embed widget now provides a "Blank message" option, so that you can customize the display message if the dynamic URL resolves to blank values, which would cover the Embed case above. Thanks.

The Date Only and Time Only fields are now supported in Experience Builder, in the recent June AGOL updates. (Note that some widgets have external dependencies, so the support might not be complete or ready, like Table or Chart. They will come in future releases.)

This ability has been supported in the June 2025 AGOL release, with a new option in the Map Layers widget, [Change symbols for layers generated at runtime]: See the details of supported layer types here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/latest/configure-widgets/map-layers-widget.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_6455DA56764045708EFB26F2516765FB Note that if the original layer has symbols with variance, such as clustering as shown above, changing the symbol would remove those customizations.

The new option "Image viewer" has been provided to support this. You can zoom and pan when checking the expanded image in the modal: The allowed zoom level is 10% to 1000% of the original size.

@DougBrowning It is because WAB uses API 3.x, which does not separate tables, basemaps, and layers - they appear together. In API 4.x, these are separated as individual components and handle different cases.

@DougBrowning The current behavior of ExB Map Layers > Show tables is the result of combining these two (as shown in your original screenshot). This is the best we can do at this time, given the core capabilities supported.

We are definitely aiming to provide better user experiences, but in the scenarios mentioned above, the cases are a bit different. For example, providing options for each group individually - this option is designed to fulfill cases where many users want to quickly check or uncheck all the layers once, instead of checking them one by one. If they have ~100 layers, options for each group do not introduce the desired better UX; yet, they are the same - users would need to click ~100 times to enable each group. Checking only the first level is not a supported behavior across Esri products, which means this is a tailored new UX that could disrupt other users' regular workflow. I understand that it could be a bit frustrating that we could not provide this feature any time soon, but we need to make sure any options we add to the OOTB widget do not break other users' cases. It would be possible if you try the developer edition, which could give more opportunities to customize the behavior of the widget. Here is one of the custom widgets developed by the community users, which might cover your second scenario - https://community.esri.com/t5/experience-builder-custom-widgets/map-layers-widget-custom-1-17/m-p/1602060 Thanks,

I am not sure why tables are forced to be separate? @DougBrowning The main reason is, in the API, the table and layer are classified in different arrays. This is not something we can control on the application's side, unfortunately. You will notice the layerList and tableList are separate widgets, and the same as in MV, with two individual options:

Hi @Thomas1, unfortunately, we do not plan to support either of these two UX - only checking the first level, or providing options for each group individually.

Hi @FranklinAlexander, based on the screenshot, you added the portal/AGOL item URL, which would not be recognized by the basemap gallery widget, as expected. Have you tried using the URL of the basemap layer itself? The acceptable types include imagery layers, imagery tile layers, map image layers, tile layers, or vector tile layers. In addition, you may find this helpful - https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/basemap-styles/ Hope it helps with your case.
