Hello everyone -

I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem! I have reached out to Tech Support, and they are still working on it.

If you create a time-ware Web Map - I've been encountering that if I set the timebar to "show features progressively" and the save the map and make it public, it will automatically revert back to time intervals instead of progressive. This shows up with both Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

I've managed to reproduce it with feature layers that I just created as well as data that I already had in the system that worked previously.

If it DOES work for some, please let me know - I'm trying not to freak out about it as I have 2 massive classes on Thursday that are creating time-aware maps and I usually need this function (if it doesn't work, I'll figure something out)

Thank you!

Hi Sara, Thanks for reporting. This does look like a bug and we are investigating. In the mean time, if you choose Play from position saved with the map as the Playback position, it should save the progressive mode.

Hi Sara, Just a note that this should be fixed altogether in Map Viewer now.

@ZaraMatheson  I am having similar issues. It will work ok in the web map, but in Experience Builder it defaults to the time interval length, in my case 1 year. No matter what I try it will not show the whole timeframe on initial load.  I have tried both synchronized and custom time setting in the Experience Builder widget settings with no luck.

Hi!  This is likely an unrelated issue, but I will pass it along to the Experience Builder team.  Can you share some more details about the steps you are taking and the issue you are seeing?

When I open the web map the time slider is full.

But when I open the dashboard it only show the first year.

If I use the custom time settings in the widget it will display however much is set for the length of one step. In this example 25 years.

It will not show the whole timeframe no matter what I have the settings set to.

@AJM, do you have the web map and ExB app that we can investigate? This seems to be related to the configuration or data, and I cannot reproduce the issue using my own layer:

In ExB - either map widget or web map as data source show the same time extent as your settings

Also, you said "when opening the dashboard", what does this dashboard refer to?
