How to Change 'X' color in expandable menu?

Hey all,

I have an expandable menu that I would like to keep with a dark background. The default color for the 'X' (exit menu button) is black is is hard to see against the dark background. Is there any way to change this default AND it's hover settings?  I don't have the Developer edition.

@JoshBillings With the latest AGOL Oct release, this can be modified in the Experience Builder's new theme settings:

This button is on the overlay so that it responds to the overlay text color values.
