@CallenKelley Hi - thanks for sharing this idea! Could you let us know more about how you would use this feature? The map tour is already enabled you to add images/videos and text for each place. There are four different layouts to choose from with different arrangements of content that cover a wide variety of uses. We are a bit concerned with making the map tour too complicated by also adding pop-ups on the map since they duplicate the purpose of the panels where you can already add media and text. If you want to provide information for locations on the map using pop-ups, you can create express maps, which have the ability to have pop-ups with images/video and text. And of course you can use web maps, web scenes, and apps from ArcGIS, all of which also have the ability to have highly customized pop-ups. Please share some more details about whether these existing features meet your need or provide additional detail about what you are looking to do so we can better understand how having pop-ups in the map tour would enhance the experience for your readers.

@xingchenc - There is a bug in some versions of ArcGIS Enterprise that prevents the Allow duplication option from appearing. This bug is fixed in the upcoming 12.1 release in a few weeks.

@Crystal_Cowardin - It looks like there is an issue with alternative text not being applied to images in a map tour. We will look into this and report back when we have more information. I apologize that this is affecting your story.

@PeterKnoop @SaraJL - Ok, sounds like things are working as expected (and your custom roles are not affecting the appearance of these messages). 👍 Yes, this message always behaved as described above. BOTH authors need to make a change from the same saved state. When this happens, the second author that makes a change will see the message. ArcGIS StoryMaps was released in 2018, and this message was added after that (in 2019 or early 2020) based on feedback. I'm not sure blocking an author from opening the builder is desirable, but we'd like to hear more about how you'd like that to work. How much time should the lock to be in effect after an author makes their last change? In an upcoming release, we are planning to make the "Overwrite" button red to further discourage people from choosing that option.

@SaraJL - Sorry for the confusion on the support side. Can you please share the incident number so I can look into things on that end? @PeterKnoop - Can you specify which admin privilege(s) you're referring to? See Privileges granted to roles—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation Could either/both of you share a short video of the issue?

@SaraJL @PeterKnoop -- We just did some testing and the message appears to be working as expected for us in ArcGIS Online for non-administrators. The message was updated slightly since the screenshot posted above. This is what I am seeing (and it is the expected result): Authors A and B open an item in builder from the same saved state Author A makes a change (autosave is triggered) Author B makes a change (autosave is triggered) "Someone else is editing..." message appears for Author B This message appears for an author who attempts to make a change after another author tries to make a change from the same saved state. The message would not appear in this case... Author A opens an item in builder Author A makes a change (autosave is triggered) Author B opens the same item in builder (after Author A's change was saved) Author B makes a change (autosave is triggered) [No message is shown at this point] Since B opened the item after A's change, B would see A's change and would be editing the item from that new state. If the authors both edit the item from this point, the message would appear as it did in the first case, above. Please do submit a support ticket with more details if you are not seeing the behavior described above. If there are other issues you see or if you have more questions about this workflow it might be best to create a new thread in the questions board.

@BenjaminMittler - Thanks for sharing this idea. Adding a way to easily flip on slide numbers across the entire briefing is definitely something that has come up in our internal discussions. We can see how it would be useful and will look into this more. It's a bit of work, but for now you could go into the slide options and update the display title for each slide (or maybe just section title slides?) to include numbers. Then, when people viewing your briefing open the TOC, they would see slide numbers for reference.

@StephenF1 - I'm sorry you are unable to change the basemap in your map tour. It sounds like you are creating a data driven tour with the feature layer you mentioned, is that right? If so, changing the basemap to one in a different projection is not currently supported for tours using a feature layer. You can only use a basemap in another projection for a tour created from scratch before you add any points. However, this is an enhancement that we are looking into adding in the future, but we do not have a timeline for when it might be available. If you are interested in this, please vote for this idea.

@davidchamberlain2 -- From your first screenshot it looks like those five layers are all published as a single map image layer item. That's why they appear as grouped when you add this item to a web map. You can add each sublayer as a separate layer by following these steps: Go to the map image layer item page (the first screenshot in your last message) In the Layers section, click on the first layer in the list in your first screenshot Copy its URL from the browser address bar (you can close this browser tab after copying the URL) Go back to your web map in the map viewer On the Layers panel, click the arrow next to Add and select Add layer from URL (see screenshot) Paste the layer URL you copied in the previous step and click Add to map Repeat the steps above for each additional layer A layer URL will look something like this: https://sampleserver5.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/DamageAssessmentStatePlane/MapServer/0 Alternatively, I believe there's a way for you to publish each layer separately from ArcGIS Pro. If you plan to use these layers in multiple stories, it might make sense to separate them out at the item level instead of having to add them manually to additional web maps in the future. If you do this, you will see that each layer is available as its own map image layer item in your ArcGIS content.

@davidchamberlain2 -- Thanks for the images. It looks like you have several layers bundled together in a group layer. The ArcGIS StoryMaps builders enable you to set the visibility only of the top level of layers. If you reorganize your web map to remove the group layer, you will see all the individual layers when configuring it in the story builder. To do this, just drag the layers up and out of the group layer, save the web map, then re-add it to the story and you will be able to set the visibility of each layer.
