@rach_crdnl - Yes, collaboration is still supported. The items must be in a specific type of group, which must be created by a user with administrative privileges, that allows "shared updates." This is different from being a group manager or having permissions to add content or edit the group details (like its name or description). Members require additional permissions to edit items in the group. Please see these links for details: Collaborate on a StoryMap—ArcGIS StoryMaps | Documentation Create groups: Shared update groups—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation Optimize group settings to share stories like never before

@Willie_C - Thanks for sharing this idea. Having limits on the number of places in a map is important because it helps map tours look and work well for readers across a variety of browsers and devices. We are not planning to remove this limit. We are, however, open to increasing this limit since hardware and software generally improve over time (as long as we are comfortable with results of our testing). How many places would you require for your situation?

@AnneWelch - You can do this right now by utilizing one of the categorized tour layouts. This is a perfect use case for a data driven tour since you need to update information used in the tour after it is created. Just create a feature layer with your tour data and media, and make sure you have a field for the category to drive your color coding. After publishing the story with the categorized tour, you can simply edit the feature layer to adjust the status of events after they've occurred without needing to edit and republish the story.

@EmilyBettler --I have some good news for you! As of yesterday, StoryMaps created with Personal Use subscription accounts can be indexed by search engines. You may need to unpublish and republish to see this if you published before today. Also, it may take time for your story to appear in search results since it is not predictable how quickly a story will be indexed by various search engines. Also, just to clarify, StoryMaps created with free, public ArcGIS accounts are not indexed by search engines.

@CoMAGOL_ADMINISTRATOR, @lzk222 -- Thanks for sharing your feedback about map navigation. Although the buttons zoom in at full intervals, you can zoom to any scale by using a keyboard shortcut. Simply hold down SHIFT and drag the box to cover the exact extent you want to zoom in to. @lzk222 -- There is a map configuration that is useful for situations where you want the exact extent of your map to be preserved when others view your StoryMap. In the map options, make sure Map view is set to Preserve extent. If that is the case and you still see different extents on different screen sizes, please provide the link to the story so we can investigate.

@PhilipWeeks -- You can get the experience you are looking for using a sidecar in a StoryMap. In a sidecar, if you have the same app in sequential slides the app won't reload. You are able to have different hash parameters in different slides. Use the Embed block to insert the dashboard in the media panel of the sidecar and paste in the URLs you need. Please give this a try and let us know how it works for you.

@Hannah_H - If you have shared your maps with Everyone, you should see them when you select Public content when adding a map. From there, you can search for specific items by name or itemID. If you want to see all the content from a particular account, you can search owner:[username] (without the brackets).

@JadahFrancisco Thanks for posting your questions. Line features are certainly supported in sidecars. You can add web maps or scenes that have line features or add line features in an express map. You can also add headings to a sidecar and create links to them from other parts of the story. For more information, see the "Easier link creation and other new link capabilities" section of What's new in ArcGIS StoryMaps (October 2023) and Add another dimension to your stories with heading links.

@BrandonGuo - Thanks for the demo story. I don't see any controls and your video is autoplaying for me. My guess is that you have reduced motion enabled in your browser or OS. When that is active, all videos appear as click-to-play to respect the user's preferences.

@BrandonGuo - Sorry you are seeing an inconsistency between your chosen options and how the video is behaving. Can you please provide some more information about where this video is placed? Are you able to share a link to the story (if it is public)? One thing you could try is this: switch to another playback option, save, and then switch back to Autoplay without controls and see if that fixes it.

@AmyNewsam -- I apologize, this was my mistake. 😕 Express maps do not yet support map choreography in this way. This is something we are considering for the future, but it is not available at this time.
