@JanetSilb_Spike Thanks for sharing what you are looking to do with your map tour and the limitation you ran into. We are working on a way to easily add a link from a URL field in a feature layer. We don't have a specific timeline on this, but I believe it may be added in a release later this year. For now, you can review the information in the blog linked below that describes how you can combine information from different fields into a single field that you can use for your map tour description. Using ArcGIS Arcade to your story's advantage We are also working on a follow-up blog that covers how to use basic HTML to format the description field using multiple paragraphs, list, links, and more. We hope to post that later this month.

@damatovm - I looked into #1 and it is a known issue we were already tracking. We hope to release a fix in the next month or two.

@Catherine_Hodde-Pierce @LauraClarkChapa - Thank you for sharing this feedback about how you use the image placement options in StoryMaps! Our analytics and observations show that the vast majority of authors and stories use and benefit from the FILL placement for their images. However, we do realize that some authors utilize StoryMaps in a way that requires them to use FIT for most of their images, such as authors who use StoryMaps to create tutorials with screenshots. This is the case with many options in the builder (most people/stories use it one way, but some people always use it another way). This is something we are hoping to address in the future through a set of new features we are planning. We are working toward a place where the story builder can notice when an author repeatedly chooses to apply a particular non-default setting, and it can suggest, and even remember and apply, those settings automatically.

@csala087_ucr - Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble accessing your stories. Is it possible that you have multiple ArcGIS accounts? Please contact Esri Support and they can help you track down what is going on.

@JanetSilb_Spike - Thank you for sharing your feedback about the size/layout of your collection's title. We just did some quick testing, but we are not able to reproduce the issue. It would be best if you could please report this to Esri Support so they can gather all the required information to properly document, track, and prioritize this issue for a fix in a future release.

@indyencyclopedia -- Thank you for reporting this issue. It looks like some of the overall page CSS is affecting elements in the story, possibly some transition animations. We are looking into this, but it is very tricky to try to isolate, so I don't know the timeline on a possible solution. Can you provide a link to your page so we can take a closer look. I would recommend that you try to look into it on your end to see if you can figure out what CSS class is causing the issue and remove/override it on your end or maybe remove some of the transition animations on the page. Please post back here if you do figure it out. Otherwise, you could also try to use a different image gallery layout (like jigsaw) to see if that fixes it or you may have to remove the gallery for now.

@sandra555 - You can adjust the height of the dashboard iframe using the technique in the blog I shared above. Essentially, you add width="100%" height="1000px" to your iframe code and you can experiment with the height and the layout of the mobile view to see if you can get it to look more like you expect.

@sandra555 -- I apologize, I realized that I misread your first message and misunderstood your original question. If you embed a dashboard without view=mobile, the mobile view will ONLY show on a physical mobile device. The reason for this is the dashboard automatically switches to mobile view based on the device's screen size, not the size of the frame or window where the dashboard is embedded (see documentation on this here). This is why you are not seeing the dashboard automatically show the mobile view when previewing a StoryMap on your desktop device, even in the story builder's mobile preview or when resizing the browser window. I understand that you are not able to test this on a physical mobile device, but we have tested this in the past and verified dashboards with mobile views do show the mobile view on devices smaller than <600px. This is the case if the dashboard is viewed on its own or embedded in a StoryMap. Just be sure you have selected the LIVE option for small screens in the Embed options.

@sandra555 -- When you embed a dashboard, you need to use an iframe if you want to pass in URL parameters, like this: <iframe src="https://www.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/abcdef123456#view=mobile" /> When you do this, the dashboard's mobile view will be shown all the time in your story, and you can also set your own height for the embedded dashboard as well (see this blog for more info). If you don't use an iframe, the URL is optimized for typical display and any URL parameters are removed. Please give this a try and let me know if it works as you expect.

@ZaaraKidwai - That story is hosted on ArcGIS Online. You can tell because the URL is "arcgis.com." The ArcGIS Online version of ArcGIS StoryMaps always has the latest capabilities. If you are running ArcGIS StoryMaps on a version of ArcGIS Enterprise, you may or may not have capabilities that you see in the ArcGIS Online version.

@damatovm - Thank you for providing this feedback! We will look into these (I believe we are already aware of item 1). I took a quick look at item 2, but I believe we would need more information about what you are seeing/expecting. I am, however, going to close this idea. As noted in our Ideas Board submission guidelines, the Ideas Board is not for reporting software issues or bugs. Please submit these issues via Esri Support so they can be properly logged, validated, and prioritized. Following this process will allow our Support team to obtain all the information needed to understand the issue.

@ZaaraKidwai -- At Enterprise 11.3, only button-style actions support changing the media type. You can create one of those from the green (+) button. The link style actions (created from highlighted text) only support updating a map that has already been placed into the media panel. The documentation does mention button-style actions are supported in 11.3 (What's new in ArcGIS StoryMaps on ArcGIS Enterprise—ArcGIS StoryMaps | Documentation), but I can see how this is not completely clear. In one of our upcoming release cycles we will update our documentation to more clearly call out this detail.

@ZaaraKidwai -- I'm not sure, but if you can answer the questions below that will help us troubleshoot. If you hover over the disabled button, do you see a message? Are you using ArcGIS StoryMaps on an ArcGIS Enterprise portal? If so, what version ? What type of media do you have in the media panel of that sidecar slide? It looks like it might be a web map or express map, but it's not clear from your screenshot.

@DARRYLBEER - Thanks for sharing your feedback about the media action button styling. Making the action button a different style than the button block was an intentional choice by our designers since they serve different purposes (triggering content changes in your story's sidecar vs.linking to external resources). We realize you have a preference for a different style, which is understandable. We don't have plans to offer any new action button styles at this time, but if you would like to customize the styles of the action buttons you can utilize our new advanced embedding feature. It unlocks the ability to add new functionality and customer the styles of anything on the page. Learn more about it at the links below: Introducing Story Embeds via Script! Esri/storymaps-developer-samples If you'd like to see additional action button styles in the story builder, please add an idea to our ideas board so others can vote for this request and share their support for it.
