There's some great instructions for installing Portal in AWS and hooking it up such that the fully qualified domain name/Windows Domain/certificates/public access work. Is there anything out there that describes what to do when the computer's fully qualified domain name is something like "test.InternalDomain.local" but the organization's public host name is something else like www.example.net and the certificate is issued to "*.example.net"? Assume that I am installing the latest version of Portal on the latest version of Windows Server.

Where can I go to learn more about transformations like the following? NAD_1983_To_WGS_1984_5 (1515) WGS_1984_(ITRF00)_To_NAD_1983 (108190) None of them are in the EPSG database according to http://www.epsg-registry.org/.

It is possible to install ArcGIS Enterprise on a server (named "A") inside a LAN, install the web adaptor on a public-facing web server (named "WebServer"), and reach ArcGIS services using https://example.com/arcgis. Is it possible to install Portal in a similar manner such that the server running Portal is not directly reachable? I saw a lot of documentation about how the Web Adaptor for Portal requires a fully qualified domain name but that doesn't exist for servers that aren't public-facing. For instance, http://www.esri.com/videos/watch?videoid=3640&isLegacy=true&title=configuring-arcgis-web-adaptor-with-portal-for-ArcGIS shows a Portal URL of https://husker.esri.com:7443 at the 07:42 mark. Does that mean that if I typed https://husker.esri.com:7443 into my browser's address bar, I would see the default Portal home page and my network traffic would start bouncing around ESRI's internal network?

In September, 2016, a security vulnerability was reported in OpenSSL, which affects the version of Python bundled with ArcGIS Pro. Python fixed the problem on November 1, 2016. It has been 3 months since November 1, 2016. When will ArcGIS Pro be patched?

Based on your example, does that mean I can write something like: require([ 'firstwatch/HelloWorld', 'dojo/promise/Promise', 'dojo/promise/all', 'firstwatch/tests/stub-module' ], function ( HelloWorld, Promise, all, stubModule) { describe("A suite", function () { beforeEach: function() { // run before sinon.stub(dom, 'methodInDOM').returns({ then: function(){} }); }, it("contains spec with an expectation", function () { expect(HelloWorld.deadOrAlive()).toBe("alive"); }); }); }); to test the following module ("HelloWorld.js") without making the browser actually go out and make an instance of dojo/dom? define(["dojo/dom"], function(dom) { return { saySomething: function() { alert("Hello world"); dom.doSomethingPointless(); }, deadOrAlive: function(){ return "alive"; } }; });

I can't find any example of someone mocking a Dojo module successfully. I found https://gis.utah.gov/mock-your-dojo-amd-modules-with-stubmodule-js/ but when I try to run StubModule, I get an error at line 27 of stub-module.js because "modules" isn't a member of the require variable. I also looked into Sinon.js but they don't say anything about mocking AMD modules (http://sinonjs.org/docs/#mocks). Does anyone know of any working examples of someone mocking a Dojo AMD module?

Could you post a diagram of how the PrintTask is supposed to talk to the secure service? That would help me understand your question better. I'm doing almost the same thing as you so I'm curious to see what problem(s) you encountered.

What sort of situation can make ArcGIS Server think that "No instances for 'bleep.GPServer' were available for 60.116 seconds."? Based on other logs, I know that at the time of the error message: - Only 1 application was trying to start a geoprocessing job with that service - The job got a job ID In the minutes preceding the error, the geoprocessing service was being actively used with no problems and the error has not recurred yet. I've noticed that some addresses in the continental USA get scores >90 when geocoded with ArcGIS Online while zoomed out on the map to the entire continental USA even though the same address gets a score <90 when geocoded with ArcGIS Server 10.3 and the most recent bundled StreetMap USA address locator. I would like to use the new LayerList widget in version 3.14 of the SDK and I saw that the sample (Layer List Dijit ) calls an undocumented helper function to get a list of operational layers from a web map hosted by ArcGIS Online. Is there any way to get a list of operational layers from a web map where the map and layers have been added using JavaScript calls so that I can pass the list to the LayerList widget? Right now, when I pass in the map object, I see things like "layer0" and "layer1".

I would like to use a copy of the ArcGIS JavaScript API hosted on another server (say, ESRI's CDN) but I find that when I do that, I can no longer access any of the Dojo widgets on my page. I noticed that it's possible to draw a circle on a web map with the ArcGIS for JavaScript API but I don't see a corresponding way to do it for the Export Web Map service? Is there any way to draw a circle on a map given a point and a radius in miles/kilometers (not pixels)? I looked at the demo at http://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/samples/widget_print/but noticed that the JSON sent to the Export Web Map service include a big polygon with lots of little line segments, which were presumably generated by the web page. In my case, I would like to skip generating a web map and go straight to generating a PNG. I am running ArcGIS for Server 10.1SP1 but would be happy to try upgrading if there's a way to do this in later versions.

Right now, my ArcGIS Server 10.1SP1 machine takes between 7-20 seconds to generate an image using ArcGIS Online as a basemap with about 20-30 black dots on the map. The image's extent is below: "extent": { "xmin": -94.580758, "ymin": 38.800505951420845, "xmax": -94.575758, "ymax": 39.373294048579154, "spatialReference": { "wkid": 4326 } The machine is running Windows Server 2008R2 with 32GB of RAM.
