James, Look at this sample http://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/samples/widget_print_webmap/ If you hit print, it will create a pdf. The user can view the pdf and then if it is what is desired the user can then print it.

Yes there are a few ways to do this. < Number > opacity Optional Initial opacity or transparency of the basemap layer. Values range from 0.0 to 1.0 where 0.0 is 100% transparent and 1.0 has no transprency. The default value is 1.0. Chaya, If you are using the downloaded version, you can edit the css to make the image larger. The easiest way to do this is with chrome developer tools. Change the css Should be around line 774. Change the height to a larger size. You could add .esriCTApplicationIcon

Chaya, To change the theme or color would be a lot of work You can do it though If you look at the css from 1588 down, you would have to change every one of the templates that have .blueTheme It can be found in map-and-app-gallery-template/themes/styles/theme.css map-and-app-gallery-template/theme.css at master · Esri/map-and-app-gallery-template · GitHub
