Our state moved the Microsoft Services to Government Cloud Computing (GCC) and I learned that Microsoft Flow use for Survey123 is not supported on GCC because of some unresolved security issues from ESRI. Is there any timeline when it would be supported? It is not an issue anymore. The link has been restored again. I learned that it began to be supported as of the middle of the July.

Hello, David: No, I did not. I wanted to run both in the same space. That how the previous libraries were replaced with new ones that ArcGIS was not compatible with. I find what most of what GeoPandas would do is already implemented in AGOL so I will just use that for AGOL purposes. Thank you for the input.

Thank you Derrick, It is version 3.5 (I think the latest). I was able to resolve the problem with submission . It had to do with choice lists in the fields that were in the original form. There was a problem in the first place that it would not bring the field data when there were choice lists in the top portion of the form. Other choice lists below were picking up the data and showing the list (though they were shorter lists not more than five choices) were working. Since the top fields were key and used as relevant clauses it was affecting the overall form. I had to reenter the top fields data before I could submit and the update would go through. It was strange to see that it brought several pieces of the data and missed others that were part of a larger list. Now I had to change the choice lists on the top of the form into text fields (since it is already in in the feature layer and is sort of important to have them in the first place) before I was able to see the data and submit it. The short term problems are solved. Thank you for your help.

I am wondering if it is possible to update a survey within an webform or embedded in a dashboard. I can update the survey when using the field app, but i can't even see geometry in either the webform or embedded in the dashboard document. It is quite possible that the embedded document is exactly as the webform so it is consistent that I can't even see the geometry. Inside the dashboard I get a cryptic JSON error (Unexpected number in JSON at position 10). Can someone help with this! I trust some of the ESRI guys will respond when they are free from the ESRIUC.

Hellp, Geizon, I was able to edit on data with repeats using the webform and it works as expected. The repeats are still there and the edit worked as I was able to pull the data back. I am not sure what version of S123 you are using. If publishing from an XLSForm there is a requirement that "allowUpdates=true allowAdds=True query" be placed on the bind::esri:parameters column of the begin_repeat row. Read it at http://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/xlsformrepeats.htm

Outside the dashboard I can see the correct repeats for the parent record when using the browser based Webform during an edit. It also allows me to edit (I could delete and move etc) I am assuming it works the same within the dashboard. I did not submit the updated data but at least in the form it appears to allow editing.

I have had a problem submitting data on a form that works perfectly in the Field App. But now I have been able to resolve the data discrepancy. It seems to be a product of choice lists and calculations that was in several fields in the form. Calculations still cause the form to behave differently than how it works in the Field App. I changed the form by removing choice lists and calculations that are attached to fields and the submission goes through. I had to fiddle with form and create an alternate form used only for dashboard submission that is plain vanilla. I am using an existing feature service as submission feature layer for a form that uses polyline geometry features. This dataset gets updated using a script based on data points from another survey. Is there a restriction on the type of geometry (such as it was before S123 using only points) to bring into embedded survey123 form? (suvery123) The geometry is not brought into the embedded survey form or the web form but shows up in the field app. There appears to be a glitch in the software when the geometry is a polyline. I can bring for edit the point data from a different survey even when it is part of a repeat. I can see the feature geometry if I use the Field (Mobile) App but it does not show in the browser at all, whether the form is embedded in the dashboard or in a regular browser. I am using S123 version 3.5 at the moment. Any explanation from one of the ESRI fellows? Thank you,

Exactly the same error message yesterday when I added GeoPandas to Python using Conda over the ArcPro 2.3 version. I then upgraded to ArcPro2.4 which removed GeoPandas and now the Python Script needed to be upgraded to the latest version and the script is running. It seems to me that GeoPandas and its dependencies conflict with ArcPy and ESRI's other installed dependencies. But we maynot need GeoPandas implementation to manipulate teh AGOL features, so fo rthe time being I will forgo that install.

I am not sure if this would help and i think it should work with both AGOL and ArcPro, I was pleasantly surprised to find and AGOL Python API method that queries related records at https://esri.github.io/arcgis-python-api/apidoc/html/arcgis.features.toc.html?highlight=related_records#arcgis.features.FeatureLayerCollection.query_related_records The only caveat is one has to sleuth out the relationship id. If any of you how to query the relationship id from the feature layer , I would be grateful if you share with me. I feel the API documentation is lacking in detail very little description is provided and there is scant sample code.

i was surprised to find that when I overwrote a feature layer collection with a new order of layers in the collection, the views created based on that feature layer collection do not carry the new feature layer arrangement. I switched the order of the layers when I rewrote the same layer name and the view still thinks the first layer is the same and the name and data type reflects the old names and type. I was thinking it would automatically update. Now it appears I may have to delete the view. Is there a workaround to have this updated automatically. Top image shows the source map for the view. The bottom shows the old arrangement in the view created based on the old closure feature service (layer) map.

Ok, I learned from Mary, ESRI support, that the spatial index on the underlying database needs to be recalculated using Arc_Catalog. Maybe it can be regenerated using a Python Script also, as the data is frequently overwritten. Glad there is a solution!

I have been trying all day to resolve why the underlying web layer (Feature Service) is not showing the features. I can query the data online using API SQL Query and see the records and published , republished and everything seems to be running alright except the map display is refusing to show or the data itself is not accessible on the feature service. It has worked before without any problems both with a script publishing as well as ArcPro. I tried to create views and set up editing capability for users in our organization and that was what I did yesterday and the trouble seems to have started after. One other thing is that this data has time property with two time fields. It was showing correctly with n issues until two day ago. Any ideas....

Thank you for the clarification. I like the field app but since we use desktops for the data collection, it makes sens to use the web-browser. I wish the two authoring tools were interchangeable so that we can take advantage of the strength of both tools without the drawbacks.

Philip, the orange message in the image says that the feature is only available in the web-app and not the field app. It is a bit confusing and I did not read the updated message carefully. It now means forms created in Connect can be updated so that the submit message and button can be modified to be used in only the Web app but the Field app behaves the same as before.

Thank you again Philip. I can now edit the content but the page appears to be incredulously and terribly slow to edit and the note still says that editing is prohibited (perhaps meaning the form) at this time.
